Three point weekend isn’t too bad I guess.

Dissapointig result, especially after last night but 3 points looking at the 2 fixtures is something you'd have taken prior to the Cardiff game.
I think we looked ok in periods and were a bit unlucky to not make the pressure tell at the emd. A few good deflections which Carr dealt with fantastically. Dundee also deserve credit to getting sticks in the way and preventing fimal passes. Final passes were probably a key part in not winning that though. Lot's of speed and pretty stuff but just missed the final pass when it counted.
I will go back to beating my old drum though. Nothing will convince me that rotating goalies is a good idea. Robinson didn't have a stinker I didn't feel but Rok was fantastic last night and I feel if he played tonight we'd have took that in regulation.
Plenty of effort, not a bad performance against a good Dundee side, just not quite enough to get the job done.

A frustrating one, we struggled to convert our chances a lot of misplaced passes . Please please please stop with the blind backwards passes....
On the positive side some lovely movement and skill on display . Definitely an entertaining game. Really like depres, looks strong confident with the puck .
Still three point weekend , there were times last year we struggled to get that in a month !

A frustrating result after such a great one yesterday, but I feel Dundee were worthy of their victory. I thought we looked quite leggy throughout the game and Dundee were dangerous. The players battled extremely hard in Cardiff yesterday, this was our first double header since returning, I can forgive the team for being a bit flat tonight.
I love the idea behind the teddy bear toss but I hate it at the same time, it completely kills the momentum and atmosphere within a game, granted we scored early but I thought the building was flat afterwards.
A good weekend overall, 3/4 points is not to be sniffed at. Well done Panthers

A pretty even game I felt until the last 10 minutes when it was wave after wave of Panthers attacks.
A combination of the final pass being just off/Stars defence seemingly being everywhere at once meant we couldn't get the gwg.
First time I've really seen Robinson play and he looked solid low down but a bit weak high up especially glove side. Stars seemed to work this out especially during penalties.
Good number of people made it despite the weather but felt (much like last week) the atmosphere was a bit flat again.

Agree with most, frustrating but not through a lack of trying. Some passing problems which stopped us generating more chances. McGurty will want that giveaway back, Neill was shouting for the puck, McGurty instead tried to pass down the left wing and gave it away only for Dundee to come up and score. Every time after that, he passed to Neill. Thought Anderson looked good last night and was unfortunate not to score. Was surprised Rok was rotated, I’m happy with both our netminders and happy to see rotation here and there, but Rok had one of his best games for us last night so felt he should have started again. Not sure the scoreline would have changed, but Rok has won us 2/2 shootouts and Robinson was figured out by Dundee.
Really really love Despres, he’s like Robocop on defence! Just does what he needs to do, no panicking, no fussing, he’s ace.
Didn’t really notice Farley that much, guess he’s still trying to gel with the team, but at least we aren’t playing an import short anymore.

Despres looks a class act. Always seemed to have an age on the puck. Team put the effort in, shortcomings already covered on here. Enjoyable game for me, and a three point weekend. Thought Dundee looked decent.

I think if you'd offered most fans 3 points out of this weekend, they'd have snapped your hand off.
Once you get to penalty shots, it's basically a coin flip. Cardiff went 2-0 last season, Storm 0-2, everyone else won at least 1 of at least 3. SO stats bore little resemblance to league placings. Fife were "worst" in SOs at 1-3, Giants and Flames went 2-1, and the 3 teams who played the most shootouts went 9-7 combined.
OT was a different matter last season, Flames, went 7-1 to lead the pack by miles. Blaze had the most games go to an extra point (14) their combined record was 8-6.
