A loss in "Sunny Altrincham" to complete a miserable weekend. See us going behind and falling just short with our fightback. "The Grapes Count" :- "Big Bad" Storm 3 versus "Polite and well mannered" Panthers 2.

Johnson needs to stop being so greedy and turning the puck over in the process…

Michund got a 5 minute fighting penalty for getting beat up. It looks like he got up and jabbed the guy in retaliation for a cross check, after taking the first penalty on the play for tripping. So the 5 minutes is prpbably fair, but he didn't do much fighting.

I believed this might be a loss pre game, but not too upset by it. Manchester are doing well, we were away and it’s early doors.

Down two players, played a tough game last night but that doesn’t excuse soft turnovers that lead to quick goals. Plenty to work on and address, but at least it was only a cup game tonight. I hope Pacha is still looking at improving this team with another addition or two though

Just had a look at Storm on EP and they’ve got 17 imports on their books right now, so 2 spare imports. Looks like they’re serious about competing this season

Small rink, tiny crowd but a very good well put together team.

Think wgray was referring to the fact that they've currently got 17 imports rostered, so are essentially "carrying" two extra in case of injuries/rotation when they can only ice 15 per game. You are correct that they've signed 18 in total (they've released one D already after the recent signings of Murphy and Morrow) so only have two slots left for signings, but think wgray was making a slightly different point spik: that by "carrying" two extra imports (at least for now) they appear to be serious about staying competitive by never being a body short on game day.

Especially when we're still averaging less than 3 goals scored a game. Though, hopefully, that will improve with time 🤞🏾
