Did anyone go to the Q&A session and have any interesting feedback?

Yes, exactly this. Did hope they’d transcribe the interviews/ questions/ answers or film it or similar. I’m an ST who’d have been keen to go last night but couldn’t make it. If anyone has snippets or any insight into what was asked/ answered please divulge on here, normally pick up little nuggets of information at nights like these.

I also couldnt make it due to other commitments. Will be lucky to get answers on here as some of those that post are ardent non-ST holders or fervant non attenders at games.

The only snippet I've heard from twitter is that apparently we are in talks with another Brit from the GB team and another import (not sure if returnee or new)

All i've seen is some bits in twitter.
Sadly those topics shared were largely all too trivial so not sure if anything more important was asked.
The onea Ive picked up on were people basically asking for freebies for ST holders along with cheaper STs. That largely answered with talk of higher operating costs.
Fans complaining about players rushing off ice to get home from Belfast instead of waving to them.
One fan commented that they dont care if we win or are mid table 🙈
Somebody talking about youth players but still need to win.
Then a discusion on moving block 19 barmy army to 14 to help spread the noise better(God I hope not). That wasnt answered by Omar.
3 players already signed. 2 we know, 1 is an import to be announced soon(confirmatiin of Caruso?). In talks with another Brit who played at worlds(youd guess Perlini).
Just snippets of what i've picked up on so not much detail really. It would be good to get the full details published by the club for sure.

Long as we’re talking about the stuff that matters… 😂

Long as we’re talking about the stuff that matters… 😂 Likely from the same group of people who are clamouring for cheaper ST but want the club to spend extra for them to get a wave! The sort of things that get raised as issues by certain parts of the fan base is incredibly insightful, beyond “first world problems” at times

There really are strange sections of the panthers fanbase , didn't someone say they weren't bothered where panthers finished in the league? 🤦

From what I've been told it was Aarron Lord ex of cats whiskers & Jono Bullards mate who made those comments (Apologies if im wrong) If that's the case maybe he thinks if he doesn't say anything critical of Panthers he may end up eventually getting a job with the club at something like his mate. Or maybe he's just easily entertained and satisfied..

Maybe something along the lines of... I dont mind us being mid table if it's clear we are spending on par and at least being entertained in the short term, whilst we build a team that compete. Something like many of us said before last season when we thought at least we'd be entertained if we wern't winning. Perhaps talking about seeing progession? I just dont see him saying something as simple as he doesn't mind if we are mid table and not winning.

Panther fan grievances:
He won't accept my friend request on Facebook They didn't wave at me leaving the ice after getting owned 5-0 Not enough air-brushing on the Panther's calendar I bought a signed netminder shirt but it doesn't fit The crappest Brit in the league is still a hero because he's a Panther's Brit Wanting all the top Brits to clear off abroad so that teams like the Panthers are even worse Panther's losing 10-0 is fine so long as the Steelers lose too Giants have the same budget as the Panther's. They are just lucky Want fewer imports so that the league goes down the crapper even quicker Every block with their own drummer First thing on any game night agenda, get as many pints down your neck as possible It's always the Refs fault It's nothing to do with Pasha

The Brits at any cost, night-out entertainment, quiz-nighters, and happy clappers are the vast majority of the Panthers fan base now. As a pure sports fan, I think the days of being a Panthers supporter are now done.

Having recently been at the Worlds, the Italy and Poland games produced the best atmospheres I've heard in that building in years but it was because of the on-ice product being exciting rather than the efforts of the GB Supporters Club (no ill-will, just the 3rd time you've heard G......B *drum roll* G.....B it starts to grind a bit.)
So if there is a suggestion to move the Block 19 guys to Block 14 then I hope it's not actioned. I just find stuff like that incredibly bleak to be honest when you're being demolished on ice.
If Panthers put together a somewhat winning team (LOL) the atmosphere issue will resolve itself.

I don't even get what people find interesting or endearing about players like Tousignant, he wasn't even a particularly good agitator or player but people absolutely adore him online seemingly. I consider myself a fairly reasonable person and I understand people go to hockey for different reasons but I too find people's excitement and commitment to the non-competitive aspects of the club baffling in truth. More so the disdain people are held in when they deign to suggest the club is massively underperforming where it's supposed to matter.

Or even just vaguely competitive for any span of time in the season, we can't even do that any more. People having a go at people leaving early or showing their displeasure when we're getting cratered in by Storm or Dundee or Fife on home ice finished me off last year. People deserve what they get sometimes and I think the penny has to drop for these people defending it and blindly following the club lines at some point, just whenever the sunk-cost fallacy (and their collection of 68 jerseys) hits them.

These people who are having a go at folk probably weren't around when the panthers were actually competitive and winning stuff that's the funny thing.

I have spoken to Arron (normally briefly) a number of times in recent years & to me always seems a nice guy, so I have no dog in that fight so to speak. You are probably right & I'm sure the context in which which the comment was said will come out in time. Though in the grand scheme of things if it doesnt there are more important things in life to worry about. I was just (maybe naively) adding info to a previous post that had come my way, so no agenda... What I will also say is that Omar stated that Craig Puffer left Panthers because he went back to be with his dad who has Cancer. No matter what we thought/think of Craig as a player (For me he was one of the hardest working on the team) I'm sure we all wish and hope his dad makes a full and complete recovery.

The only problem you could ever aim at Puffer was the idiot who signed him. His hard work for three periods of every game cannot be faulted. His only problem was he wasn't an EIHL standard player
