Anyone remember where they were 10 years ago today? The club haven't mentioned it, and why would they, seeing as, on the whole, they've been so wee wee poor since. The greatest day in Panthers history, totally ignored. Criminal

Anyone remember where they were 10 years ago today? Listening to the BBC radio commentary, as I recall. Seems like a very long time ago now.

Yep Belfast. Ten years ago and they haven’t made a single league challenge since ! Panthers probably haven’t mentioned it because of embarrassment it’s been so long. 🤣

I was in the Redcliff Bar in Shanklin. Oh, sorry, that was when Elvis died, and there is more chance of Elvis making a return than the Panthers ever doing that again.
Anyway, what's on Twitter?

At the Arena the day we beat Belfast watching the broadcast for fans. Got offered a beer by some gal I didn’t know. First and last time ever. We have played recently v Sheffield in a (10 year old rero) Jersey to celebrate the 2013 league win, was this just to give the Steeler's fans another chance to laugh at us. We make some very odd decisions don’t we. EDITED : 17th March because it didn't make sense earlier.

What a brilliant night that was, we were there celebrating my 50th birthday weekend. I think everyone in Rocky’s had a feeling we were going to win that night it just felt right, There were hundreds of Panthers fans and the place just erupted it was epic.

I know Rockys isn't there anymore Pidge. I meant that Panthers fans don't seem to know each other these days, certainly not as much as they did years ago. I remember going for a pee in Rockys that night, it took me about an hour cos I had to stop and talk to people that I'd not seen for ages

I remember going for a pee in Rockys that night, it took me about an hour cos I had to stop and talk to people that I'd not seen for ages Over the years the demographic target for “customers” has specifically not done anything for team “fans”. Like many I can remember being told that fans don’t matter as there was a whole city of more people waiting to come along. We have an arena of people wearing a plethora of different colour shirts, people actually being told to leave their seats during a game for the Panthers locker thing and tons of free tickets given away to people you never see again. For years it was a stale old 1970’s Dusty Bin style junta promotion coupled with crap and abject failure on the ice and now when we look around even in the arena we very rarely see any of the old faces who were fanatical Panthers fans. It’s been sold for years as a night out and that’s really all it is now. The only thing that’s turned over more than the fans is the players.
