These guys just aren’t good enough at all. That’s about the long and short of it, on top of some of them clearly wanting to be somewhere else it’s easy to why this season has ended up being the worst for several seasons. And yet there are still some people who want some of them back thinking they could tare the league up with the right team mates. The worst I have ever seen. Black has pulled off a genius move. Turned an arena team into Dundee v2 and saved even more money

Why do the arena always do these drills at Panthers games, bet they never do it at a boxing night. Of all the other events I’ve been to at the NIC I’ve never seen another drill happen. Easy target. Aside the odd swizzled off person like me they aint going to have it really kick off. Yup....You nailed it there Baggy.

Was anyone left in the building for the fire drill? Of all the daft times to attempt to organise it. Little warning, on a cold mid week night, at the end of an even shittier season. Then they try to prevent you from leaving by blocking doors to lower parliament Street. Saying we have been on social media asking for the fans to help them with their evacuation procedure. This after several situations I know of where the arena management have been rude to people. Even telling some Panthers are just another client of the arena. There used to be a lot of good will between Panthers fans and the arena staff but not so much now with the current management attitude. I had a little run in with the one guy at the main entrance to LPS. Wouldn't let me out a main entrance door even before the final hooter had gone. It wasn't like I was trying to leave through a fire exit which they usually open after the final hooter. Put his hands on me too. I moved him out of the way and offered him a match.

Think next they try a drill it should be on a Sunday in early September, when it is still warm and before the team has turned out to be poo poo again.

Is it me or don't Elite realise we have qualified for the play offs?
No it's not me.

Can I also just say that the chant of 'We are the Nottingham Panthers' repeated over and over makes the people doing it appear thick and stupid, and without imagination (though I'm sure they are quite the opposite).
Too many people accepting mediocrity and a fan base who have come to expect it as the norm.
As much as I doubt Omar Pacha I do wonder if he has enough power to make the changes required and spend the money needed.

Turned an arena team into Dundee v2 and saved even more money For the first time I think ever supporting Panthers, there’s not a single import I’d have absolutely zero hesitation re-signing. Up and down the roster it’s just garbage or players flattering to deceive. At what point as a d-core do you start thinking “maybe blind passes out of the corners to the slot are actually a bad idea” because they were still doing it after the equaliser! They don’t shoot on 2 on 1s but then shoot with 5 players in the lane, they never get physical or impose themselves on a team. Even though we’ve been nowhere near the league since 12/13 bar a fleeting interest pre Covid in 19/20 (Largely Sam Herr on his own) I’ve mostly felt the team could at least compete in the playoffs or cup and beat any team in the league on a given night, albeit not consistently. But this team has been going through the motions since November and I genuinely think the way back from this is too far and certainly too far gone for words to fix now next season. They’ve played on people’s good faith a season too long.

I just cannot wait for the season to end.
Our goals were nice....can't think of much more to say
I spoke to some other fans who have been season ticket holders for a while and they said they won't be renewing next season as they just don't enjoy it anymore. Don't think they'll be the last.

Last competitive team we had was 15/16 season when we had Cam. Did the cup double and although we finished 5th in the league we were only 10 pints off top. With only 3 less regulation wins than Sheffield who won it.

Pacha must be absolutely desperate to stay in hockey not to have his cases packed by April the 2nd. Over promising and BS has been the gold standard and that’s saying something after the pathetic tired old regime that was in place before. The only saving grace is the absolute farce going on in Glasgow over the course of the season was avoided here. NB is the worst thing that ever happened to the EIHL and the fact that anyone turns up at Breahead and the NIC still amazes me

According to the EIHL Gamesheet, the attendance was 4401. I doubt that very much, and yes, before anyone says it, I know they add in season tickets whether folk turn up or not.

Well no surprise on the result. First period was full of energy and grit and thought that at this we could win comfortably, nope, eased off in the 2nd and flagged in the 3rd apart from the last mins. CN said that when he arrived the players werent fit enough to play with a constant pace for two games. Well several months on and we cant keep a good pace up for one! Our defence was dire last night, two howling mistakes by Summers, one leading to a goal, Brassard swanning around on the wing when they break two on one.
We got what we deserved last night - sod all!
As for the evacuation, what shambles. Most left well before the final hooter and were prevented from going out the doors to LPS, some did abut showsec were not happy about it and they had one bloke pinned up against the wall outside. The Panthers said taking part in the evacuation was optional and as it would be done after the post match presentaions then presumably any leaving before didnt want to take part. Some of the staff are very heavy handed in their approach, put a hi-vis on and a badge and it goes to their head.

That's been the most frustrating thing for me all season. Horribly dangerous, very low percentage, plays in our own zone. Awful to watch. And a new way to get me hiding behind my hand in our own zone, to go along with our seeming constant inability to clear the zone with any degree of regularity. At least the players aren't skating into each other now quite as much as at the start of the season.

Busy having a go instead of just accepting that it was people's choice to take part or not. The manager saying we have asked on social media for you take part but trying to bloke you from choosing not too. Kind of sums up the current attitude of the arena management. One minute laying the law down saying we are just another client. The next wanting us to do them a favour. They need a rethink before next season.

One word that sums up last night - DIRE. Left not feeling disappointed as regretfully it was exactly what I was expecting. The overall standard was so poor - and I apply that observation to both teams. Around thirty players with nobody having that "x-factor" that fans love and that can lift you out of your seat. Forget League Chairman Tony Smith and his son that the standard of the league gets better each year. In my honest opinion it is just the opposite. Playing standards have fallen so much over the last decade. No star players, no characters, no entertainment. Ice hockey in the UK no longer has any enjoyment value and it's very future must have a huge question mark hanging over it.

Oh, and by the way, the game night presentation is an embarrassment. From the announcer trying too hard to generate a hollow atmosphere to the "Panthers Pictionary" on the big screen. Talk about dumbing down to your paying customers. Off-ice is in as bigger mess as the on-ice product.

Surly the most hardcore of fans don't go for exciting hockey anymore and more for the social? Even the so called better teams ain't exactly good it's just that panthers are so bad they make them look good.

Been saying it for years the standard has gotten shocking. I don't listen to a word 2 point says anyway lol
