Really not buying this hype about Jones. He started off shaky got hot but now is pretty cold again. If he isn’t good enough for Belfast he should not be good enough for us much better netties around the league than jones & debeau. He has gone a bit colder lately, but mostly due to some pretty awful defending. To be fair, Giants swapped him for who has turned out to be the standout goalie in the league. Good business whoever you're swapping for him. Panthers signed him as a worthy replacement for Berry. Also good business, it turns out, with all due respect to Berry. He possibly wasn't good enough at quiz nights

Are we thinking the retained import list might have grown a little over the last few games. Anderson ? Brady ? Summers ?these three have stepped up,,although I've been quietly impressed by #16 all season. Even Sorenson ?

These aren’t CNs players and a 7th place finish will demand serious change. He’s hardly hidden his thoughts on the squad has he? Izacky and Levin would be on my retain list - but we are seriously lacking in Brits. 1 on a 30 odd man GB squad says it all - and he’s close to retirement.

We could win the semi finals and final 10-0 and still wouldn’t take many back.

I doubt it, Pacha has spoken at length about being the gold standard and that means turning up consistently and with this being a rather crucial season I don’t think he can afford to take the chance on bringing back more than a couple. I also feel Pacha is going to be quite ruthless to the point where we might even see a uni degree cut short

Just so they can say oooh look how good we are having brought last season’s MVP back. 🤣🙄

Including cutting the very close links with certain sponsor/s You can't call yourself a professional sports club if you overule your coach in favour of a sponsor. Especially when what the coach wanted was better for the teams on ice performance. Then of course there's the need to put more money into the on ice product. History shows us that us something Neil Black us reticent to do. We have a poor squad again and people want several of those players back? That would produce yet another season akin to this one and yet still some would be surprised that history repeats.

If anyone genuinely thinks Anderson (15 points in his first 42 games) and Sorenson (24 in first 42) have had good enough seasons to warrant a second chance, I think I may respectfully disagree. Pretty telling that Izacky is the best point-per-game player this season, and the player who left before the 2/3 GP point of the season is still the leading goal scorer by 5 goals at the end of the season. It's been a very poor season, and a few half-decent performances in the last month don't change that.

It's been a very poor season, and a few half-decent performances in the last month don't change that. Neither would get into any team in the league. Anderson spent 80% of the season doing nothing (although he is better now the season is over) and Sorenson is the worst rink rat ever and ends up sitting every time he does anything. Sorenson is a very good player with some sort of disorder where he gets involved in every altercation and his game just goes. Both need to be on a one way ticket home next week.

Good question. Enlighten us mere mortals? Nights out before a game. It’s gone on for years So, half the team are in the Legend the night before a game? If true, that's a lack of discipline in the team, not a sponsor issue. That's not what was alluded to, that the high-ups did what a sponsor wanted rather than what the coach wanted?
