IF Tetlow could improve his skating and maintain puck possession in the offensive zone a bit better he’d be a good player.
There’s rumour that Hook is out of favour in Belfast and is due to be leaving, he hasn’t played in Belfast’s last 7 games, which included the challenge cup final, and I’m not aware that he’s been listed as injured. I’d snap him up straight away if I was Panthers

Just an old EPL player and yet he's still in the GB squad, played this year and to be fair, was one of the players from the WC games that upped his game against the top nations.

Good luck to him so long as he stays miles away from the NIC

Stats Tetlow Finnish 2nd Tier P44 G2+A6 +/- +18 Hazeldine EIHL P35 G0+A5 +/- -9 Point of order, 18 is his PIMs, but he's still a very respectable +11, top quartile in his team. I would say he's done a decent job in Finland, stayed there all season, been solid, and undoubtedly progressed as a player. Even the Finnish second division must be at least as good as the EIHL. Wonder what he'll do next season? Please note - sensible answers only.

How does this usually work, and what’s the timing? Are all players on a single season contract? Are they all free to talk to other clubs now? Do they actually publicly announce any retained / released lists? I note that season tickets cease to be on sale at the end of June. You’d have thought a fair amount of business would aim to be done prior to that in order to give the fans some hope / excitement for the season ahead. You’d expect a decision on the coach early doors in order that they can be involved in the re-signing / recruitment process. Incoming players would need to buy into what the coach’s plans are. Sesnsible answer, following on from messier... Most players are on 1 season deals, unless announced otherwise. Thus, they are "free agents" at the end of the season. There will be some announcements I'm sure. These tend to be Brits or long established players. Maybe the odd new face. As you say, some sales ill be influenced in this way. Coach is probably the biggest early signing, also as you surmise. Who knows who that will be?

Do any of "The Black Mafia" hold a PSV driving licence ? Or maybe Mr Green ? The entire set-up is a DISASTER and all involved should feel ashamed.

After tonight’s performance, why would you want any of them back?

I'd keep the bus driver, sack the rest. Didn't we miss the ferry earlier in the season... 😉

Whoever the coach is getting top end Brits will be a problem but is essential if we are to be competitive.
If we have Hopkins and Hazeldine back full time then Kelsall will need to be replaced with better.
Myers is surely going to retire. So that's another quality Brit needed.
Ferrara has had a bad year goals and points wise but his all round game is still better than Kelsalls. Depends on how much he gets paid to whether he is worth keeping.
Are Panthers willing to spend the cash to get top end Brits? Knowing them probably not.

I suspect Myers will retire and I also suspect Ferrara will return to Coventry, it’s just not worked for him with us and I believe he’ll go back to where he’s been successful. Kelsall is still only 23 but I don’t see signs that his game has improved that much comparing him to before Covid. Granted Covid has caused disruption, he’s been on poor teams, had coaching changes, positional changes, he has grabbed a few goals but I just expected more from him this season. If we need six Brits on a game night, I’d stick with the split duties at back up, we then need five more Brits. Ideally Ollie would return, could we tempt Perlini and Hook as well? If we get them three we still need two more, are Hopkins and Hazeldine ready to be starters for a team that should be aiming at challenging? I’d argue not and they need regular game time in the NIHL first. Who else is there that could improve our Brit pack?

Really not buying this hype about Jones. He started off shaky got hot but now is pretty cold again. If he isn’t good enough for Belfast he should not be good enough for us much better netties around the league than jones & debeau.

You are correct. Absolutely nothing to do with saving pennies. i won't bore you all with the details as it's a private business matter involving a number of parties.

I think it’s called “the old mates club” just like far too many things EIHL.

Indeed... Omar having a 'contact' at Goodwins who it just so happens to be Storms coach company. And were so when Omar was there.

Yep a classic Panthers example of putting saving a few quid before the result or the team. I bet the players were thrilled when they found out about that coach and boat trip. It’s no wonder they didn’t turn up in the first game.

If he isn’t good enough for Belfast he should not be good enough for us much better netties around the league than jones & debeau. He has gone a bit colder lately, but mostly due to some pretty awful defending. To be fair, Giants swapped him for who has turned out to be the standout goalie in the league. Good business whoever you're swapping for him. Panthers signed him as a worthy replacement for Berry. Also good business, it turns out, with all due respect to Berry.
