Expecting there will be a proposal.
I hope that the Goal by the stage has been looked at, there have been 3 dodgy goals scored at the left post in the last 2 games. I thought that it might be a light.

No logic to this one but The Grapes Count comes in as. - Panthers 2 : Giants 1.

Per the GRS Jones backed up by Bloor, no Hazeldine, 6 import D (incl #25), Lahtinen starts alongside Hammond and Brady. Besko gets the start for Giants.

Don't get the Hazeldine thing. I know he's got a game for Leeds tonight in Sheffield, but start of the season he was one of the brighter points, and add him in we can be full strength. Surely we call the shots on where he plays?
Does Neilson just not rate him?

2 Tweets in P2. Still 0-0.
Wonder if Viaplay are regretting not sending the cameras up to Glasgow...

Better team won again. Founda bit of quality when needed. Jones deserved MoM for Panthers and Besko for Giants. Jones had to make a hell of a lot more quality saves though. Created very few real scoring opportunities throughout.
The new guy really had me worried in the first. Every puck that touched his stick ended up directly with a Giants player. He grew into it though and showed a few glimpses of what he could do in the 3rd. Not sure about he skating style. Constantly looks like he's trying to stop himself falling over.

The more I see of this team the more I realise how lucky Summers has been playing with Brassard because I don’t think he gets the criticism he deserves, he’s not quite on Brassard’s level for turnovers but he’s close behind

Lucky to score 0, frankly. I’d love to count the giveaways we make in our own end one game. I’d need a calculator.

Can’t fault the effort at all. Thought Jones was excellent, they’re just a better team than us with better players. To me it’s that simple. They’re just better, and we battled hard tonight. Good on Gagz for standing up for his teammates when Ruopp was giving it the biggun when Brady was down injured! That’s what he needs to do, arguably a bit more often.

Tons of effort but no quality. Passing looked like it did in September and by the third I was laughing at the amount of giveaways we managed. Our terrible giveaways and hitting and chasing into the end zone (and losing the puck every time) completely flumuxed Belfast for two periods.
Calle Ackered Really dodged a bullet there.

Jones was quality again, the shoulder and then toe save shortly after was brilliant.
I liked the desperation of the team to battle in our own zone, and we hung on in there, but there are simply too many passengers in this team unfortunately, especially amongst the Brits, so poor.
I also don’t get the Archie situation, had he played tonight we would have had a full compliment of players. Then when Brady went off injured, Ricci could have stepped into the forward lines and Archie could have played as part of the full 6 D. If Leeds get first choice then fair enough, but, as I’ve alluded to, our Brit core is on its knees and it’s looking bleak as regards to the core next season. Giving him time to develop now would be pivotal going forward.
Finally, I was of the opinion that we needed to get another player in anyway, but if Brady is out for any amount of time we absolutely need to get a player in. Hopefully it’s not too serious for Adam.

Tomorrow is the transfer deadline so it’s not possible, unless placing them on IR allows us to bring someone in post deadline but we’d only have them for 3 weeks because we’ve used up all of our registrations

And we could bring someone in for IR cover for Lagrone as I don’t think we have yet

Yes, but we have signed 20 imports this season, which is supposed to be the limit. Whether that rule's enforced or not, who knows. Quite why a team should be punished for a player having to leave due to personal circumstances...
Would we sign someone else anyway though?
One thing we can be sure of is our IR rules won't matter a jot to the IIHF, as we found last year.

One thing we can be sure of is our IR rules won't matter a jot to the IIHF, as we found last year. One of those 20 is Lagrone who is on IR until the end of the season so someone can come in and play in his spot for the remainder of the season In my opinion we do need someone, bring a right hand dman in, play 6 actual import dmen and move Ricci back up front

Possibly, but if you read the original IR announcement, it reads like you have to make a signing permanent or not, after 21 days:
Whether that's just badly worded, and it's not considered the "out for ages" injury, again who knows?
