Adult price just about acceptable given everyome, including the league is effected by inflation. £80 is still to much for a child.

Nice touch to have a video acknowledging that they made a massive mistake last year and that everyone making the point by staying away from the POFW was taken on board by the EIHL and had the desired effect...

Good on everyone who made a stand last year.
So it was 115 last year, what was it the time before that?

It is a nice touch but was definitely something that was needed. Interesting that it's Kelman fronting the video, especially given Cardiff were one of only two teams to vote against the price hike & ticket changes that occurred. Was about time the EIHL owned one of its mistakes, but how many years has it taken for them to finally do so? Given the early bird tickets are going on sale so early they've obviously got one eye on the cost of living crisis and fearing what that would do to attendances if they released tickets as usual in January. Forward planning by the league for a change or perhaps an attempt at self preservation, of sorts

Nothing like trying to get the cash in their bank early is there ! Adult price is fair enough, still too expensive for kids though.

And there are several events at The Arena and Rock City whose tickets are on sale now and take place after Play-Off Weekend. Are they getting money in the bank early as well?

It is the norm for those venues to sell gigs a year or more in advance, but it's out of the ordinary for the EIHL. It's usually in Jan when they sell POFW tickets.

I think it's down to other feedback from fans last year. It was a late announcement, with later than usual sale date aswell as the silly prices. Left it tight for people to get sorted especially after Christmas. If you want to be overlly critical you could still argue they've given less than a months notice meaning people havn't had time to budget for the first day of sale. Many probably save up to expected sale date in Jan to afford it. Really though, it's a positive move to add more time. Perhaps thins out the initial surge. Now just to wait and see what individual clubs will do. This announcement is the initial one with more details to follow. Will Panthers sell themselves or giving a ST priority window?

I like that they've changed and gone back on what they did last year. Well done everyone who made a point and let them know how they felt. But why is it every time the EIHL needs to apologise, it's Kelman who fronts it? Is it because he's the 'friendly' owner that 'everybody loves'? I also don't buy the 'we respect you guys as fans' line. I'll believe that when this sort of stuff stops happening in the first place.

Yes but those are gigs where you know who’s playing and it’s somebody you want to see, unlike the EIHL play off weekend where you favourite might not be there !

Generally most fans seem to like Kelman. C. The EIHL board know that. D. The rest of them are too far up themselves to apologise.

Just a quick note, the prices stated above don't include fees, so expect to add on around another £10er.

Yeah just saw that, in a way it's quite ridiculous, they say it's in person or phone but don't open up the over the counter box office until 3 days later. Shouldn't have assumed really, but a few season ticket holders would have been there last Sunday and surely there's a way that it could have been done online with a code

It's a travesty in this day and age that it isn't online. Is there any other event at the arena that doesn't sell online?
Also a joke that I can't even get put into a queue when calling, just get "line busy" and disconnected.

You can do it online for most other teams, I just don't get why they couldn't open the Box Office, even if it's just for today

Managed to get my tickets after an hour (admittedly I was only calling every 5 minutes by the end).
Now to hope that Panthers make it there!

Doh 🙄🙈 I guess they did. It's likely on purpose to stop the big queues and having to manage it. This works both ways. It was perceieved silly before that people would physically Queue when you could now buy online and phone.

I see your point but myself and Kievthegreat have stated, you can't book online for Panthers Blocks. I'm assuming that you get an email receipt and tickets will be online as well?
