Plenty of players 5ft 10 and smaller have been excellent players on the boards and in the corners. Benedict being one of the best. It all depends on work effort and speed of skating.

There's been plenty of sub 6 footers who have been pretty good over the years

He’s a typical signing at this level in as much as you have no real idea what you’re getting. Point per game in the ICEHL is nothing to be sniffed at even on a small sample size, nor is his record in junior or his pedigree being a first overall OHL pick.
There’s mystery in all signings, I personally think he looks an more than ok pickup on paper tbh.

Looking forward to seeing what he can do tonight, hopefully he brings a different dynamic to the forward lines and does play with an edge as has been mentioned

Welcome David! I think he could be an under the radar gem: a bit of a Jesper Ohrvahl or Tristan Keck. Hopefully a surprise EIHL goal scoring package like them. Definitely worth a try whilst we need IR cover
If he brings even a glimpse of the talent that saw him drafted above many NHL and AHL regulars in the OHL priority then we could be singing his praises by the end of the season. 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
