Really ? 😳 Basically admitting they don’t think they’re a good idea but “if we can make money out of them we’ll have them”. I find that a really poor attitude. |

So what really are the point of these power breaks.. do the webcasts break off for adverts lol.. they need scraping asap.

We did show a sponsored Assist and Save Of The Game last week, can't remember if it was during the third period power break or not though.
I assume someone envisaged a 30 second advert from a local company to play in that spot, without really thinking through the value of that in an Elite League webcast (approximately zilch).

Cardiff retweeted their story on twitter saying they were doing the same. Not sure if they'd already stated this. So we're down to 50% participation, it's like that old cup competition we used to not bother with. |
