What a superb signing, brings a different dimension to what we already have. I’m glad he’s a Panther and not playing for anybody else in the league because I think he’s going to ruffle a few feathers😂

Great news this. Really looking forward to a new season for the first time in a long time.
Hunt could be anywhere from 2nd to 4th line. When I say 4th, I say it because we have so much quality that the 4th line will be a real regularly used line. Not a dump your last resorts on.
Kelsall, Myers and Hunt could be a fantastic shut down line. The other two could actually help Kelsall score more points too. A 4th line like that could still contribute 30 goals along the way.

In 2021 he got suspended for throwing a trash can at a linesman… Steelers games could get tasty again!
After years of being a captain for various ECHL teams, I can imagine he’s GG’s early choice to carry the C this year.
Will rack up PIMs and will score points at a decent rate. Again, it’s no marquee signing but it’s another player fitting the mould, good experience and of a good calibre. Every EIHL team without exception would have Hunt.

Sorry to disagree with current sentiment, but I see this signing as maybe the first mis-step. If Hunt can used like Kelsey Wilson was, let them know you are there but don't go looking for it, then his +/- say he'll be useful. Otherwise the highlights and video footage suggest he could be a loose cannon and we won't see much of him on the ice. He could be Graham's Insurance policy if the season doesn't start well, easy to release/replace (like Doty).

But they will definately contribute in playing hockey too. Hunt has been a fan favourite everywhere he’s been, and you are no captain on multiple teams unless you are more than a “goon”
I remember the days of Richardson winding things up in warm up, and I’m all for it

The rosters put out for a number of years now have been devoid of personality. Hockey should be about entertainment, which comes under a few select guises. Spot on - great example of a very effective role player who brought so much to the table other than points. - which these morons shouting “goon” can’t seem to understand. Having said that I see Hunt producing more offensively than Janssen so if that’s the case we have one hell of a player on our hands |

Janssen was faultless for Panthers. Played the energy/protector role perfectly. The way he dealt with the Moran/Marsh situ was particularly memorable. |
