Never happen, remember Carr isn't really a good N/M for Nottingham apparently, so why would Sheffield sign him lol. If they did either some heads will explode or some people's opinion will change to what a great signing for Sheffield.

Would say Rok is a clear level above him.

Pacha wants CN back at Panthers... I’ve heard a strong rumour that’s the case. Apparently they met at the play offs.

Tousignant-> Germany (3rd level) How do you saw his season? Did he fulfil the expactations? Can you tell me his strenghts and weaknesses? Thanks Regards from germany with all due respect to anyone, DEL3 is probably his level. He's a nuisance, but not big enough to play the agitator role effectively in a fully pro league, even one like the EIHL. He works hard, but often not effectively, he's willing to take one for the team, and can chip in with goals. He's not the fastest, but he knows where to go and isn't frightened of any-one. His seasons in the Romanian league saw that he could contribute regularly, but he's unlikely to get another season in the UK and he doesn't score enough to get a role in DEL2.

Thanks Regards from germany He's a very annoying player to play against. He tries to get under opposition skin and draw penalties and he does that fairly decently. He's also hardworking and happy to go to the dirty areas. He's not a big scorer here, but maybe he could in DEL3?

Thanks Regards from germany A fan favorite but aside from quiz nights he's a bit of a punch bag for anyone over five feet one. One of the poorest quality imports at the Panthers for several years and never missed him once when he was benched.

He was a decent scorer in DEL2 not so many years ago, so would expect him to still go ok one tier lower.

Tousignant-> Germany (3rd level) How do you saw his season? Did he fulfil the expactations? Can you tell me his strenghts and weaknesses? Thanks Regards from germany I think overall he got the amount of goals and assists that we would expect, but I think he will be disappointed overall as he started off really well. He had scored 10 goals after roughly 25 games but then went around 25 games without a goal. His biggest weakness is his lack of speed, that really hindered him I felt, but he has some strengths to his game. He is a nuisance for the opposition, will get in players faces and draw penalties. He’s not afraid of dropping the gloves, even if he’s not likely to win. He scores the majority of his goals from sat in front of the net, if you put him on the powerplay and work a unit around him he will score lots of goals. He’s also fairly decent at face-offs but as a centre man I felt his lack of speed could be exposed on the back check. He performed well in the German 2nd division, if the pace in the 3rd division is slower than the EIHL then I think he will be an effective player.

Thanks Regards from germany Clearly the worst +/- on the team. Beloved by fans because he pulled a silly face on our screen after getting beat up by a young brit. Not as effective as most people in the arena seem to think. I’ll be glad to see him go in all honesty.

Thanks guys for your replys. In Germany3 there are only two import spots allowed. So for me the question is: is Tousignant a type of player with his strenghts and weaknesses that i would choose on one of these two spots. For me an import has to make his linemates better and i don't know wheater he can.
I do also not understand what happened with his statistics over the last 3 years. His career statistics drop down after the years in DEL2
Of course the play in Germany3 is slower than in DEL2 or EIHL, but because of only two spots you need imports, that probably can level DEL2 too. Two imports you know very well in Nottingham that played Germany3 last year are Brett Bulmer and Zackary Phillips for example.

Tousignant maybe wouldn't be ideal in a "2 import" league, as he's not really anything in particular. He's not really a scorer as such, not overly skilled (certainly not if compared to someone like Phillips), doesn't really carry the puck, not really a fighter, and not great defensively (at least not for Panthers). He can crash the net and was used as a PP screen early in the season, to decent effect. He's a agitator-type roleplayer, and find him that role and he'll do it well, but he's not a scoring leader. (All IMHO of course.) That said, Brett Bulmer was not great for Panthers, but has done well in DEL3, but Bulmer has more size and skill than Tousignant.

I would take Bulmer and Phillips over Tousignant every day of the week but I can’t say I know a lot about the Germany3 league. He has a tendency in our league to go missing for long periods of time (as in he can be completely ineffective for multiple games in a row). With bigger teammates around him he is a effective agitator but when there isn’t the toughness there to help him he finds himself getting beat up pretty often and starts to pick up stupid penalties of his own. In my opinion he was one of the worst imports in our league this season and even though we weren’t good in the slightest, if you put him in fife I could see him being on the lower lines and being even more ineffective. His first stint in Nottingham I think he only played around 10-15 games, was in everyone’s face and looked like a promising 3rd liner. Wouldn’t take him back at panthers if he offered to play for free.
