It has to be remembered that this year the cup group stage was a one off with Clan having to drop out. Hopefully next season will be back to normal with 2 groups of 5. Could do with the groups being either drawn or seeded. Think they need to ditch the quarter finals and go straight to top of one group plays second in the other group in the semi's. Think the only reason we have the quarters was that the group makeup prior to this year meant that one of the big four, Either Panthers, Steelers or Devils would be knocked out at the group stage. Would also be good if they ran the Challenge Cup similar to the old Autumn Cup and had it finished with the final before Christmas. 2 groups of 5 isn't normal is it? Hasn't been that way since 2016. The only difference Glasgow not partaking this year was that it was 3 even groups rather than having 1 group of 4 teams.

Opps forgot about that. For me they need to go back to two groups of five.

An extra week to suffer, lucky Panthers fans. Hope all the teams have asked the players first otherwise there might be a few missing come play off weekend if they’ve booked a holiday ! Think Panthers players booked theirs irrespective of the change…

Thing is, there is still a good chance they could. The top 3 are miles ahead. Against any of the other clubs who could make the top 8 then they'd have a 50/50. Just need to finish 4 or 5. A really sad way for a Panthers fan to be thinking, but it's where we are at. I'll be going to pofw so part of me wants Panthers to make it. Another big part of me has got to that point that I dont want them to make it. I dont want anything to sugar coat this car crash.

The best thing that could happen to Panthers this year is that they don’t even make POFW. Be realistic, they aren’t winning it even if they got there. Even better would be them not even making the play off’s because that might, just might wake Neil Black up !
