Whilst I very much appreciate the "review" of gamesheet data this year, I think we have a winner.
Panthers 4th goal vs Clan last weekend was originally recorded as 81, no assist. It has been revised to 9 from 47 and 24.
Sadly, we have no video footage to see what on Earth went off there.

Bizarre. Panthers reported that as Suoranta in the match report, although that may have been drawn up from the game sheet as it was at the time.

"Jonas Emmerdahl logs the most minutes per game in the league" He logs 26:44 TOI per game, according to the article. Which is apparently more than 27:14 Jamal Watson and 29:42 Drydn Dow. Who knew? They’ve amended it! Sadly, to… Jonas Emmerdahl is one of the top minutes left game players in the league So close…

It should be a team stat really, for the average time the fans walk out in disgust.

Looking at the OS and in particular the upcoming matches at the top of the main page. There seems to be a big break in fixtures 22nd of December till January 11th, SEVEN Panthers games alone missing.
Oh I know. They have just stuck the last few CUP games (what they know of) in there ahead of time.

Why say 'Teddy bear toss' when you can say: 'a well-worked Panthers powerplay goal setting off thousands of bears being aired onto the ice'

“Sheffield Steelers #33 Barry Brust is fined SAD suspended for one game”.
Poor old Barry,no need to be sad it’s only one game.

I like the Clan player Mitch Jones cos he has such an easy uncomplicated name. 'Colton Yellow Horn poked home the rebound off Match Jones' shot'

Dundee head to a pottery class to make a drinking vessel... "The Dundee Stars head into Cardiff hoping to make their first ever Premier Sports Challenge Cup with a two-goal lead from the first leg to their advantage." The sentence structure is bad enough to be groan worthy as it is, but miss out the word "semi-final" and it sounds like the Scots have been called in to build the damn Cup - like some previously unseen episode of a C4 reality show 🙄 www.eliteleague.co.uk/article/1876-stars-take-two-goal-first-leg-lead-to-cardiff

Not from the EIHL but saw this on the BBC yesterday. It's worth a mention for horrific sensationalistic "journalism".
"Earlier, the UK's daily confirmed Covid cases hit an all-time high of 78,610 - the previous record was 68,053 on 8 January"
“All-time”? Really? Given that for 99.9999999999999999999999%* of time, it's been precisely zero, I'm a little perplexed why you'd reference it to "all-time"...
(*I may not have exactly the right number of 9s, but you get my drift...)

That's hysterical 🤣 "We first started to see an issue on Monday when the players got back from the tip and it kicked on from there," said Doucet. Unless it was intended as a cutting commentary on Belfast's arena 😉

Sadly that's the first time I've seen Panthers get a new item on the BBC website in ages. Devils and Giants seen to manage it every game but unless we're playing them it's a rarity we manage it sadly

"The Sheffield Steelers have made the following changes to their roster composition ahead of today's game in Cardiff:" And in case you thought this was an announcement that meant composition with regards to the make up of the roster... Nope. They meant composition as in how things are written clearly... "Andreas Valdix is added to the roster as injured-reserve cover for Brandan Connolly" Hmmmm, does it now count as a change to their roster now we know they've been using identical twins to fill one spot? Otherwise who's this Brandan bloke they've been secretly icing? www.eliteleague.co.uk/article/1888-steelers-roster-changes

I thought Valdix was Vallerands cover? Vallerand is back now so he doesn’t need cover. So you can sign a player, in theory, as injury cover all season, and not use a change, just by flipping him between injured players?

I guess "technically" they'll be signing the player again each time but in practical terms it's just carrying an extra player without using a change (provided you've got enough injuries)
