I doubt it, we're going back a long way there, Mike Ellis era. Someone might have the DVD. I have a distinct memory of that goal as a bit of a low point in Panthers defending, including him stopping dead and leaving them wide open in front.

Broll's actions not as bad as I'd feared, he doesn't "lose it" really. Clements, on the other hand, does a bit. Neither were on the ice at the hooter.

Agreed, I think they got the bans for Clements and Broll the wrong way round there.
Getting fined for celebrating seems a little harsh.

Probably the most dislikeable player I've ever encountered and if you speak to players who had the misfortune of playing with him they will say the same. He was never on Steve McKenna's Xmas card list that's for sure..

It's an emotional game, players won't see some-one celebrating in their face and think 'I'll leave it to DOPS to sort it out'. They'll deal with it in their own way. As a coach or fan, you'd be disappointed if players didn't react in the way Broll and Clements did. Next time the two meet Lindeskoug won't make the same mistake, BUT if Coventry win then standby ! |

It’s moments like this which helps to create rivalries and make people interested in coming back. I understand there’s rules in place relating to the last 5 minutes of the game (which are a load of rubbish in my eyes), but there wasn’t anything ban worthy there.

We were already short on bodies for the final but his team mates wanted Adey to leave him out of the final against Coventry. Thats how much they liked him ! Lol 🤣 |
