Our challenge cup 1/4 game is a game owed from last season, so it might be fuller than normal. But the club should absolutely look at giving a good discount for every other ticket. Not sure they could discount a game owed, that would surely disadvantage the season ticket holders? (Assuming you're owed a full price game, albeit at ST rates?)

Good point, I wouldn’t personally be fussed if that’s what they did though.

We’re still waiting on some signing announcements then. With the league being so far out of reach already I thought it would have been a major priority to have somebody in for the cup 1/4 final, that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen though. Doucet isn’t covering himself in glory right now.

Nope he's pretty much failing! The club seem more interested in auctions than actual relevent stuff like making the team better . Perhaps they think a 4 point weekend has solved everything!

OR plan B, wait-wait-wait.

What a pisss take that is. Serves them right Ms.Sturgeon has just told them today it’s staying at maximum 200 fans until at least 24th January at the earliest!

Why does that "serve them right"? What else are they supposed to do?
Sturgeon's rules seem fairly dumb to me at this point. You can now have 60k at Celtic Park, presumably the concourses of which are inside, but not 3k (at best) at Braehead Shopping Centre?

Because they take the pee by charging everybody £20 a ticket, even kids and concessions and they only do a webcast now because they’ve been forced to. It’s all about money and bolllocks to the fans, always has been and always will be at Clan and Panthers. I have absolutely zero sympathy for either club. ‘

If they manage to sell every ticket they'll be able to raise the enormous sum of 4 grand, that's what, a third of the wage bill?
They should definitely have got 200 concessions in instead.

Plus the webcasts they sell and the handout they’ll get from the government. Why should the fans get penalised and have to pay more than they normally would. Their fans backed them and risked paying for a season ticket and this is how they get repaid,by having to pay more to watch a game,IF they can get a ticket. Next they’ll be putting the webcasts up to £20 before you know it !

They don't have to buy a ticket to any of these three games. And all season ticket holders get the webcast free according to their press release about it. They'll then get compensated for these 3 games in some form.
They don't know what money they'll get from the government yet, I'd imagine they'll have expected Clan to have sold the 200 tickets they were allowed to sell though, and I doubt they'll be getting rich off it.

No they won’t be getting rich off it but they knew the risks with Covid around so don’t sting the fans for it going wrong after years of likely making good profits. They might get over compensated for it by the government but if they did I bet they won’t pass it on. We’ll watch with interest for the further fan compensation. And it’s not just Clan and Panthers, look at some teams refusing ticket refunds for cancelled games and the Giants refusing to give fans compensation for last years missed games. The whole EIHL stinks.

There should be a draw to see who gets the home advantage I feel.

Typical EIHL changing rules mid tournament. When was the last time they did that then, if it's typical? Saves 2 games, I guess, every little helps.

Play off finals weekend was one when they suddenly decided to change the match ups of who got who for finals weekend. There have been other instances too,I will try to recall them.

It's a shame none of them considered the need for a little leeway in the schedule before the season started. Could've saved us the torturous group stage.
