Not 100% convinced this is the right move, time will tell.

How can you not like this move.. he'll be down on the 4th line doing a job .. knows the organisation and city . Gives us more depth and still have the two top line imports to come

No brainier signing, much better then having Kesall on the 4th line.
2 more import forwards to sign and we are looking strong

I’m very surprised to see Myers back in Nottingham. A great servant for us and a proven winner, he’ll bring physicality and presence in front of the net, also we now have a right hand centre who is decent in the circle.
Does this mean that Kelsall sits out as a spare then with Myers slotting in as 4th line centre? That would be a good decision and make sense.
If this isn’t the case, I hope we’ve not signed Myers and decided to play with 6 brits and 13 imports as I don’t think we’ve got enough top end forwards.

Great face-off guy, disruptive influence on defences, could nicely support some younger and faster forwards. I’d like to think the 30pt barrier is still in his reach.

In Myers interview with Moran Myers said us and Cardiff are the only teams he knows that aren’t going 14 imports and 5 brits and that he’s not taking up a designated Brit slot

Even though we’ve lost 2 other GB forwards? Poor from Panthers if true. 2 top imports and we challenge

Neil Black sees all the complaining about Brit limits, comments on cost v flying in and housing imports etc. Then sees Myers without a club. Sees an opportunity to save a bit overall with 1 less import.
I love Matt Myers but him plus 1 top line import leaves us slightly behind the leading lineups for me. If Myers was traded for one of the mid level imports already signed and 2 top liners came in then that'd have been better.
Be careful what you wish for I guess.
I'll wait for the line up to be finalised before really making my mind up though.

We’ll be there or there abouts regardless. I look at it this way…we’ll have a full roster for start of season..Doucet can then see if any players get released from training camp he can bring in…Kelsall goes in a two way and we’ve improved.

Looking at the forwards as a group, Wallace and Doucet must have something like this in mind:
Suoranta Welsh Import Boivin Lane Domingue Carozza Tousignant Betteridge Myers Kelsall
Myers is a great depth player as he’s shown over the last few season with Cardiff, but I don’t think signing him over an import is the way to go.
Him signing is great but in my opinion we should have gone with:
Suoranta Import Import Boivin Welsh Domingue Carozza Lane Betteridge Tousignant Myers
Kelsall as spare
Two 25 goal scoring forwards in that 2nd lineup is going to push for the league title, we’d have great depth, Kelsall as a spare for the inevitable injuries and covid cases.

To be honest if the final import is of the quality of Antoine Laganiere then I'll be happy
