Good news. The type of player we have lacked at times in recent years. Team coming together nicely, although it's tough to know how nicely until we know import limits for next season.

Another good signing! Happy with him - thought he was just what we needed and gives his all for the team

Think Matheson will be back as assistant coach . I'd expect Boivin and Perlini have already been offered contracts

Agree - I think hoping for Herr is shooting for the moon - he will be much in demand and I don't see us either will or able to compete. Perlini - maybe

Probably won't come back but you never know

Great to have Tousignant back, he brings energy, passion and he’s a much needed character for the fans to get behind. It’s also good to see that he was successful with his team in Romania and that they won some silverware, hopefully he has the same success with us.

Listen to the guy talk. Coming out with all the cheesy stuff you usually see a player spout out given to him as a script by somebody at the club. The difference is he is saying it with real energy and you can tell he really means it. Really excited to see what he can bring over a full season. As already said, something we've been missing the previous few seasons a player like this.

I can understand the fascination from fans with players like this...that character who fans pull towards. For me, it comes down to him fitting into a role within the team. He’s going to take penalties but he’ll draw in opposition players with him. As long as he’s putting him 0.5 PPG, I think he’s a very good addition. It’s nice to see us keeping imports for more than one season as well.

And I think you're right on a number of levels Pidge. But just on needing the energy guy in the team but also Richardson's comparison: grit, willing to do the dirty grinding work to get things done and make it possible for other players to get things done as a result. And just a hint of an edge too to keep opposition honest. Liking this signing, though was surprised he was going back after the session he's just had. Looks like Wallace always wanted him so that's great to know too.

Tbh we need far better than Hanson for secondary scoring . Started off well but quickly went off the boil. Stats don't back that assertion up, though. Was pretty steady at a point per game throughout the 19-20 season, no noticeable drop off in form at all. Second top even strength points scorer for the season, behind Herr. If anything, he started off relatively poorly and got better. But I do agree, there are surely likely to be better options? (Unless he's been keeping "game fit" etc etc) Attachments:
