Well you should know. Stay safe. Don't get cocky, Glynne. You aren't on your forum now. Here we call you out for all the overly optimistic Cardiff trash you post. On a serious note, what caliber of coach do you think you can attract given the EIHL prospects of going ahead?

Well in my best Codswhollop trash, it’s anyone’s guess whether it stays in house or not, apparently there has been a whole lot of interest according to Kelman from lots of parts of the world, we obviously have our views, but they can be a million miles away from what the clubs intentions are. Think Lordo will still help while he is here with the final outcome, Kelman rarely gets things wrong in fairness to him, and Neil Francis will have a input, and he talks a lot of sense. Think if we do get a season it will start in Nov and finish maybe June, but that’s just wishful thinking. Think we have many more players signed than what have been released.

There you go, a fair and reasoned response. You can do it you see, just need some encouragement. I'd agree with you as well. Your higher management are totally stellar & a fine example of how a club should be run properly. I'd bank on them to make the correct appointments.

My guess is Guildford, what you guys reckon. We certainly have the Brit space. Cardiff probably have the cash and Brit spot with Bowns going. That could work. Unless Cardiff are looking to keep their spending down to ensure they dont take their budget beyond 4th spot.

The only thing that makes me think it will be EIHL is the wording in the press release. I think they would've mentioned taking a chance over seas as opposed to couldnt agree terms.

O'Connor's already said the terms reason isn't true, they just didn't want him.
Although he's always got a mistake at hand, we need a British defenseman.

I did hear tonight that it was a reason we let Connelly go so we could finance a deal for BOC. by moving to Nottingham he doesn't need to move house unlike if he moved to guildford. Could have legs we will see I guess

Nothing like it on his Twitter. This is the only comment I could see and it doesn't seem to be conflicting with the official account of events:

Nice to see someone else's linen getting the public wash treatment for a change.

Could have legs we will see I guess It certainly looks to have legs, especially as it sounds like Sheffield have got rid of him. The one problem that O’Connor has is his defensive ability, or lack of it, would this concern you, or anyone else for that matter?

Defensively woeful and thats being kind.

Despite all his defensive flaws, my question is whether Panthers are strong enough Brit-wise to pass up a chance to sign an established brit like BOC??
Make sure he's on the 3rd D pairing, partner him with a stay at home import, roll him out mainly on the PP - I'd be happy with that

Can't help wondering if he's so bad defensively why he's never converted to a forward.

Said it ages ago, wait til Fox finds out what O’Connor earns.and he’ll be like Jesus Christ he isn’t worth that ! 🤣 Spend the £1500 a week on an import and you’d get a far far better player than O’Connor.

You need brits and I wouldn't be surprised if the import level gets reduced anyway or what sort of standard of import we are likely to see

According to Steelers/Peter Spencer Twitter he was told to take a pay cut and wouldn’t. Good move by Aaron Fox in my opinion.

Do we need or want him. I think he is over rated by others and himself. Has tried bigger leagues and ends up back in shuff, I know a hockey career is short and you need to make as much as you can but he wasn't worth what he was rumoured to be on. If he moves to another EIHL team then I think he'll have to take a cut.

A lot depends on the reaction of his team mates. If a player is well up his own backside,a “show pony” on top EIHL money but not the best player in the team, then how does that sit with the other players. Probably not that well with many I’d guess !
