i'm guessing it wasn't the greatest contract in the history of ice hockey.... Can be the only reason. Wasn’t invited to the Calgary rodeo. Calgary stampede and it was cancelled unfortunately.

In all seriousness I don't think the GSR's realise how fortunate they are.
I fully expect them to be promoted to the NHL by the 2021/22 season. They'll give them a bye past the AHL, no point messing around at that level with the greatest coach ever at the helm.
I feel sorry for Seattle the most in all this, they've undoubtedly lost their franchise.

I simply want to say "Good Luck" to Andrew Lord in his new appointment. His achievements with the Devils are in the record books and are firm testimony to his coaching ability. Sure, he still has much to learn but looking at the infrastructure of his new club ( what a fabulous home arena ) and their ambition it is a challenge that I believe he will relish and thrive on. Nobody will ever be able to take away the great memories that he helped give the Cardiff fans. Life in "Devil-land" will continue. The role of Cardiff Head Coach will be very a attractive post and offer an outstanding opportunity for someone to further their own career.

Hope that Cardiff make a better job of replacing their top coach than Panthers did.

It's still a strange career choice for 'lordo' yup he might be guaranteed at least a season with paid income and more noticed over there but the overall standard in the East isnt great.
Strange wanting/hoping replace him better that Panthers did? They are rivals..
Come on in Thommo !!

Not previously announced anywhere? All I can think is that Greenville retain his contract rights for the ECHL. When he joined us his previous club was shown on EP as Charlotte, whereas he was signed by Greenville from Springfield, and was only at Charlotte on a PTO (try out contract). If anyone can make more sense of this please feel free to correct me.

Brian Connelly has signed for EHC Lustenau in the Alps Hockey League At times he looked like he could be really exciting offensively, and probably on the continent he'll be a good pickup. Just think he never quite did it for me.

Luke has been offered a huge job in Switzerland outside hockey, too big a job to turn down he flew out last Thursday. Big loss for the devils, but a huge plus for him. Top man will be missed but a great move for himself.

Our guys want to stay,, and we want them to stay, no problem," Clearly your coaching team didn't receive your all is well message.
