That's because of lack of investment and the long term sustainability of EIHL teams to play out of these arenas I know people have been wanting EIHL back in the North East for years now - but it needs to be sustainable long term Arenas are being built or at least planned but very few include a ice plant! Do you have a list of arena's being built by any chance? Would be curious to see where they are. Exclude any amphitheatres or any more big blue tents.

Oddly (as this is being discussed) a write up in the Cup Final programme makes a jovial comment (stating the positive) about it being a sell-out. That is obviously the point here - that it would as it holds less in it's capacity.

The sport isn’t as exciting as it once was (for first timers) so it’s less likely to bring people back, add in a terrible rink and that’s the outcome.
