Could be a duel between our defence and the Blaze attack. Their netminder is a walking disaster so I can see goals aplenty. But, some of our key performers seem to have lost their mojo recently. So, a fourth consecutive league defeat in in the stars. The Grapes Count = Panthers 3 : Blaze 5.

You know it's something when someone who doesn't even watch games can call you out for being clueless. That said I bet Motte still has nightmares about Sam Herr.

If this was being played at Ikea I'd fancy the Blaze to take the points, but expect a different story at the NIC. Panthers to win a close one.

The walking disaster who currently has the best save percentage in the entire EIHL? (Yes, yes, I know, Long's is better but as he has only played 46 minutes in 2 games...) Do keep up, Lou!

Another tough game, hopefully we’ll have some left after the battle with the Devils.

1-0 Blaze. Shot from the blue line with Carr screened.
Refs have given 2 really soft roughings, leaving themselves open to constant complaints from players. The first on Herr was possibly the softest I've ever seen given. A very half hearted push to the chest.

Then they didn't call one harder a few minutes later. Followed by calling the one against Coventry in front of goal later. They've set themselves up fo a rough ride tonight. In reality any glove punch/shove should now be 2 minutes. Persoanlly non of them should have been penalties.

The screen isn't that significant and he seems to mishandle one straight at him.

Can I question the hooking call on Lepine?

The Blaze looked a very effective team. They are the league’s form team at the minute?

It's becoming all to easyto predict this teams results. Coventry are a very good side and it was always going to be tough. I'm from a Carr hater. He was a big part of us winning last night, but then he has game like today too. Championship winning type of goalie and we win that today for me.
The soft call on Lepine was hard to take. Some strange calls and non calls. Dont think we played too badly overall. 2 evenly matched teams and OT was a fair result.

Out of all the netminders you’ve see this season, who do you think is a championship winning one? Im not sure there has been a stand out netminder this year. Bowns would be the best shout but he has been over used. It's a commonly used term for a goalie that delivers game in, game out consistantly with very few errors. Carr isn't that for me. You'll see i've said a lot of positives about him overall. He can be excellent sometimes, as I feel he was last night. However he also has performances like tonight where it could be argued his performance was the major contributing factor in us losing.

3-3 was a fair result,we let Blaze into the zone far too easily at times but we also didnt look as slick as last night.
The game was quite scrappy in large parts but we couldn't hold on when it mattered

I don't think it was Carr's fault tonight, the first was going well wide until it hit the back of Matheson's leg and went in- nothing Carr can do about that. For the second, he was hung out to dry after a gove away in the corner by Perlini and the third was a very clever finish from Laakkonen to bank it in from the level with the goal line.

He should never be beaten there for the 3rd.
