Were we still pretending Rheault was injured tonight, or was he available for selection but scratched?

This weekend was horrible, the title is out of reach now however there still is 2nd place to play for.
People are thinking that Sheffield are going to win every game now this season but has they have shown, any given weekend, they can have a 0 point weekend.
There are no weak teams this season

It looks like that lack lustre performance yesterday has re ignited Steelers title ambitions (won 4-1 against Giants) and all but erased the slim chance that we had☹️ Its reignite there quest for 2nd place yup..you do realise had Panthers won tonight they could be level with Sheffield if they won their game in hand? Does anyone look at league tables on here or just presume stuff! More interested in what Steelers are doing again I see Pidge. The league table, for reference, would have shown Steelers still in front of Panthers due to your inability to win games in regulation this season. Do you ever check, or just presume stuff............

We looked short of confidence and ideas tonight. We had some push back in the third but there were too many passengers on our team tonight. The team could do with a few days off before they get back to it I feel.

Hardly more interested in other teams.. last I saw is you get the same points for a regulation or OT win.. gaining the extra point is hardly that difficult

Cardiff are 5 points ahead and they have a game in hand. So even IF Panthers won every game you would need the Devils to lose 4 games from their remaining 11.

Panthers v Devils at the NIC over last 3 seasons... 19/11/2017 - Panthers 7-4 09/12/2017 - Devils 2-1 20/01/2018 - Panthers 6-4 17/02/2018 - Panthers 7-2 26/09/2018 - Panthers 4-3 04/11/2018 - Panthers 3-2 26/01/2019 - Panthers 2-1 02/10/2019 - Devils 5-3 29/01/2020 - Devils 4-3 (CUP)

Panthers most probably aren’t going to win all their remaining games though, maybe win 8 from 10 might happen if all went good. But then you’d be looking at the Devils having to lose six games from their last eleven.

We're almost at the end of February and we are still in the title race...more than mathematically too, especially how this season's gone.

I don’t think Panthers will lose every game,I’ve never said that so don’t know where you get that from. But yes I suppose taking it an extra month longer than normal is a remarkably tremendous achievement for a team of Panthers stature. Whatever floats your boat.

Spik, it looks like Panthers scored on a delayed penalty, thus the penalty is shown as 0 minutes. However, as the penalty was 2+2, the first 2 mins is cancelled due to the goal being scored. I'm sure I will be corrected if wrong. Got your drift...But if the Events and GRS are correct , still very confusing as after the 0mins it then says 2mins AND PS on the sheet. Old friend Bobness will put us all right soon. I think one time I thought the 2mins WAS cancelled if a PS was scored but was put right after saying that one time, So your theory seems right but why the PS shown? That’s what I think. Baldwin takes a delayed 2+2 for “accidental” high sticks, Panthers score on it (but too quickly to get a sixth skater on?) so one of the 2s is cancelled, but the other stands. So the penalty that is recorded should be a single minor for high sticks, despite the call being a double minor. The “administrative” penalty disappears, but that’s not been consistent, as Steelers scored a delayed penalty goal on Saturday which isn’t recorded as such and has no attached 0 minute penalty for Panthers. Don’t get me started... Fantastic.

It's classed as a neutral venue for PlayOffs

Calling that a delayed penalty goal and wiping out one of the 2 minute penalties is a very fine line call. Shortest delayed penalty goal ever? IIHF Rule 114 xi if you want to have a look.
