Carr is good but not top quality. We can do better and have in the past.

Carr is good but not top quality. We can do better and have in the past. Oh, I expected him to be red hot after being rested midweek.

That being said, itās Steelers and thereās just as much chance of them winning 4-0 with Panthers registering 11 shots. Welp. This would have the teams on an equal number of available points, both five behind Cardiff.

Belfast clawing back and Cardiff pulling away to rub it in.

Terrible performance - Sheffield the far better team on the night. Thankfully these webcasts are not a regular thing - Dan Greens commentary is worse than his netminding. I am all for optimism but he is totally deluded.

Shambolic, gutless and all too predictable. How many years has this scenario played out, again and again?

Disgraceful performance!
Where did the team from last week go?

We looked decent in the first period and then fell apart.
We need a coupe of snipers and we donāt have that. Herr seems to have been a bit quiet recently, not sure why.
88,63 15 for them - great line

Well what a time to pull out the worst performance of the year. The refs may have cost us a goal or two but we were just abysmal after 5ge first period.

Sheffield were more physical all night and really got under our skin....and we well straight into it!
We looked afraid to get stuck in and looked so lightweight it got boring.
Some horrible misses didnt help but Sheffield are a horrible team with so many rink rats you want to smash their head though the glass!

Heaviest HOME defeat and equals the heaviest loss all season AWAY v Guildford.

Steelers would be comfortably the best team in the league if they didnāt have huge and obvious defensive flaws.
Exploit the flaws and any side could do them, as weāve seen.
Fail to exploit them, and they rack āem up.
Playing against Sheffield is a pretty accurate mentality litmus test, because the scoreline will generally reflect whether you were scared of them or not.

Heaviest HOME defeat and equals the heaviest loss all season AWAY v Guildford. At least the Guildford game included 2 ENG. No such mercies tonight. Say what you want about Refs, missed calls, bad calls, etc... Steelers played more physically with more pressure, and critically didn't lose their heads. So many stupid decisions, broken plays, fumbles. their 6th being a perfect example. Mentally weak performance.
