Want to get excited for this one but daren't
Surely there's money to be made from a webcast or that YouTube thing from last season.
If not let Freesports (If they want) cover it live or delayed coverage.
It's a sell out, give everyone a chance to see one of the biggest games of the season (which is not hyperbole for once)

If we win in regulation, do we go above them?

If we win in regulation, do we go above them? They stay above on regulation wins. Effectively they have an extra point because they've got so many more regulation wins I doubt we can ever win that head to head this year*. *this goes for pretty much every contender as well.

I’m actually missing this one and going to see The Illegal Eagles instead. It will be nice to come out the concert not knowing whether we’ve won or lost. For the first time in a few years I’m actually nervous, hoping we don’t fluff it in front of our biggest crowd like Steelers did a couple of weeks ago. I’m more concerned about the Flames game cos we can’t buy a win in that place .

GIGANTIC TUSSLE. If we approach the game in the same way as we did our most recent visit to Sheffield then we can be victorious. Forget the apparent "hex" that they have when they come to Nottingham and play our game to our strengths. Steelers should be feeling a degree of pressure themselves realising the importance of this match and considering their recent set of results. The Grapes Count = Panthers 3 : Steelers 1.

Well, I never thought I’d be saying this three weeks ago:
This could be an embarrassing night for Sheffield.
Their basic defensive flaws have been there all year, but they haven’t been outscoring them. Unless there’s been an extremely swift swing in attitude and confidence, or a miraculous discovery of Defence 101 Serum, I can’t see how they’ll grow to match the recent optimism of the teams around them. Basically, it could be that they’ve peaked too early and their star players are upset that the streak they put in didn’t actually win anything. Whether they’ve lost their drive or been found out, it’s a pretty deep slump. Their defensive pairings aren’t clicking at all, and a couple are simply poor. Dowd, the gritty skill that epitomises the club, can’t be relied on for the rest of the season.
Panthers are at fever pitch and have nailed some great signings for the run-in with Bigley and Tousignant, they’ve got the mental edge from the 5-1 cruise at the FlyDSA and are on a fairytale rise where Steelers are collapsing.
That being said, it’s Steelers and there’s just as much chance of them winning 4-0 with Panthers registering 11 shots.

Oh, I think that’s quite even-handed myself. Maybe a little purple on the Panthers victory theory, but I reckon both sides find truth in that.

Yes, we’re making them look great, but we have dropped to their level. Just before their 1st goal, Lepine got drawn into it by, surprise, Connelly. The refs have let nothing go and we’ve not learnt. The 1st minute of that 2nd period has set the tone for the rest of the game, it’s just far too easy for them. Nobody challenged Vallerand on their 2nd goal. Quite simply, they want it more than us, they’re finishing their checks and playing hard, we’ve been shy. We’ve certainly not took our chances either.

Far too easy for them. 17,7,19,9,24 - not sure what they’ve done. They are head and shoulders above us
