No Liam Reddox is ! Shocking return from a guy who’s played his whole career in the NHL/AHL and SHL. Reddox isn't the sort of player that's going to beat 3 players and score, so if the rest of his line aren't playing well he's not going to be effective. But I had to check in the 3rd period if he was actually playing. Exactly. Reddox isn't a point a game player, he's mainly employed to look after his own end, not the other, but agreed, he was very quiet last night.

Reddox isn’t a point a game player because he’s played his whole career in the NHL/AHL/SHL but in those leagues he had a fairly decent points record. For a guy with those points in those leagues and that resume a point a game should be a cakewalk in the EIHL. At present he must be about on a par with Rheault. 🙄

By your reckoning, he should have torn this league up also, but didn't. Then he went back to play in the show, funnily enough. Just goes to show that CV don't tell the whole story where the EIHL is involved.

If you want to compare players, let’s pick two AHLers who played a very similar number of AHL games (about 190 games),one who by his own admission was played as a defensive forward and the other who I’m being told is a defensive forward and look at their AHL points. Liam Reddox 0.65 ppg Sam Herr 0.21 ppg If Liam Reddox played at Panthers and only had the same points as Ollie Betteridge then no doubt he’d be getting similar flak to Jon Rheault. Quite why your trying to defend an obviously underperforming opposition player like Reddox I’m not quite sure. Probably just cos it’s me i guess, when all I did was answer somebody’s original post about Bobby Farnham.

OK Iginla, let's get the thread back on topic, as this is the game thread. I'll ask you about the game yesterday. who do you think had the poorer game yesterday. Reddox or Farnham, and why?

So, let me get this right. You are basing all these judgements purely on their stats?

So, let me get this right. You are basing all these judgements purely on their stats? Yes because we’re talking about his point production or lack of. Where as you might have seen him play twice at most and probably never even noticed him. He’s like Mr Invisible, don’t think I can remember him even getting a mention on here by anybody before yesterday, that shows how ineffective he’s been this season. The original question asked if Bobby Farnham was the biggest waste of money in Belfast, which considering he has double the points of Reddox this season and seems to be involved a lot, that would suggest Farnham isn’t.

It’s amazing how quickly things can can change. Start of the season many said this was one of the worst Panthers ever. Even a couple of weeks ago with the losses to Flames and Devils our challenge looked all but over and now we are right in the mix. we had a different team than the start of the season. The upgrades we’ve made mid season have been phenomenal.
