Is Bobby Farnham the biggest waste of money in Belfast since DeLorean? No Liam Reddox is ! Shocking return from a guy who’s played his whole career in the NHL/AHL and SHL. He’s here for the beer along with Smotherman

Agree with you there, unreal CV but every time I’ve seen him play he’s been awful. I think he’s on a multi year uni deal so hopefully he will be Belfast’s equivalent of John Rheault. As for panthers today, great team performance, nobody stood out as everybody played well. Tousignant’s looking good, already a crowd favourite and not because he can dance, really winds up the other team and is awesome at screening the minder.

Strange yet you were wax lyrical over him when he signed singling him out as EIHL all star based on his stats.. what they dont tell you is if he thinks he can come here and coast games!!

And you weren’t ? Look at Reddox’s CV and straight from 8 years in the SHL,the last 4 years as captain of Vaxjo Lakers,he should be ripping the EIHL up not lagging miles down the scoring charts with barely a dozen points. With your well known excitable histrionics for anybody who’s played in the SHL,if Panthers had signed Reddox you’d have been wetting yourself with glee and excitement. Crikey you were having multiple orgasms back in the summer when Panthers signed Quist and Jakobs ! 🙄🤣

What a game, we were absolutely dominant tonight! The game was over come the end of the 2nd period, the Giants only managed 3 shots in the 2nd period, we were like a rash and should have been more than 4 goals ahead.
Again, it’s great to see our secondary scoring coming into action. That was the best game I’ve seen Golovkovs have, his pass to Deutsch was unbelievable. I’m loving the energy Tousignant is bringing, he scored an absolute rocket and boy did he love it. I’ve been really impressed with his line, him Betteridge and Horvat have built some chemistry and they bring a different dynamic, Horvat has certainly come into his own.
Tonight has been the perfect night for us, the wheels certainly seem to have fallen off Sheffield’s bus. That point we picked up against the Storm is starting to look very good.
We can’t look past Wednesday, every game is diffcult, they’re all a cup final.

Can't be many seasons where we've restricted Giants to such a terrible return at the NIC (0pts and 1 goal scored from 3 visits). Will be interesting to see if we can export that record in March.

It’s amazing how quickly things can can change. Start of the season many said this was one of the worst Panthers ever. Even a couple of weeks ago with the losses to Flames and Devils our challenge looked all but over and now we are right in the mix.

I'm not buying the standard "Belfast were poor" line... they are still a very, very dangerous team... fast, well-drilled, and relentless on the offence & forecheck. The thing is... tonight the Panthers played them at their own game and clearly did it better. We simply didn't allow Belfast to play how they wanted... and the frustration amongst the Giants players was clear to see.
That was as close to a total team performance from the Panthers that I remember seeing for quote a while. It was, quite frankly, an absolute joy to watch. It's not primarily results or trophies that I pay my money for (although I definitely want both!)... THAT is what I pay my money to see. Damn sure we got value for money tonight!
More of the same, please...

If we’d converted just one of those leads in Sheffield we’d be level on points with and top of the league tonight. Seriously, very good week given the issues we’ve had in with DeSantis and Bulmer leaving. Testament to good coaching and keeping the focus on the ice. Doucet acted decisively and has signed a real guy to rally behind in Tousingnant.

First time all season Herr has gone without a point in 2 games on the trot. But also the first time all year that Panthers seem to have 3 lines that can genuinely pose a scoring threat.

Reddox isn't the sort of player that's going to beat 3 players and score, so if the rest of his line aren't playing well he's not going to be effective. But I had to check in the 3rd period if he was actually playing.

Herr's line was matched up against their top line, when that happens both lines tend to cancel each other out. He always poses a threat though.

According to the game sheet Herr got an assist The highlights packages from the league and the Panthers don’t show the build up play to Talbot’s goal, so we can’t use them to confirm it. We’ll just have to take the gamesheet’s word for it, at least he was on the ice at the time😂

So, Herr continues his run of never being held pointless in 2 consecutive games this season...
