Definitely the harder of this weekend's two games. Just as well the Storm lack a true marksman. Think this will be a tight game with Panthers emerging winners, but only just. The Grapes Count = Storm 2 : Panthers 3.

Another potential banana skin game, won’t this be the 3rd game in 3 nights for storm aswell? We have a good record in Manchester but they sussed us out last match. Hopefully a win for us but I really wouldn’t be surprised if we lost this one. Fingers are crossed.

They did beat the Devils 4-1 last night and Altrincham is unique as we’re all well aware. No Deutsch or Perlini, I’ll be content with a point.

Sloppy first. Need to improve.
However with both Giants and Steelers in danger of dropping points, we need to make hay while the sunshines.

It’s Manchesters fourth game in five nights. It doesn’t matter, it’s never easy in Manchester, as Cardiff found out last night.

It doesn’t help the cause when you’ve got a player who can’t hit a barn door. Empty net...

Steelers score four goals in 3:44 in the third and beat Clan 5-3 in Glasgow.

Looks a nice, regulation win, as expected. 3-0, 2 left.

Now that is a good result, especially in Manchester. Makes a change to get 2 points in regulation

Sam Herr. What a player!
We defended immensely there, every man solid, Carr well worth the shutout. So far, 4 league points out of 4 in Manchester this season, that’s not easy.
Great run of results going into the conitental cup, let’s hope we can keep it going!

4, very decent points. 2 of which taken when playing poorly which we normally never do. Stars certainly showed tonight that they are more than capable and beating them was a good result. Very good tonight by the sounds of it.

Bet Belfast expected a win tonight too. Probably. Getting humped by Coventry at home is pretty poor, although they are better than Manchester. We're 4 for 4 in Altrincham this year. Doesn't seem to concern us much going in there, despite the cliché.

The way things are going the devils and giants will fall away leaving the Steelers and Panthers to fight it out..

Sammy Herr is making me contemplate my username rather seriously.
What a player.

A cracking result. Cracking weekend from a points point of view.
It’s certainly not over for us just yet. Come back with a trophy and that momentum May start to swing our way.

A solid performance - particularly defensively. Herr again was tops - a wrap around that the goalie might have done better with and on the break rifled into the top of the net. He also has the ability we have lacked for some time to bring the puck forward and beating players. I liked Ollie clashed - went down, but still managed on the ice to get the puck away.
