Last two games before the Continental Cup, should be a straightforward 4 points tbh. I don't know, I believe that this is a banana skin weekend.
Dundee are coming of some good wins recently and you never know with Manchester.
The Christmas period has been tough and it wouldn't surprise me if in this game against Dundee, they come out flat and Dundee win 3-1, I really hope I'm wrong.
I know the reasons why these games have been scheduled but I would have tried to fit them in some other time TBH. It reminds me of that game against Guildford around January 3rd last year where it was a drab affair and won 2-1. It seemed that neither set of teams and supporters wanted that game. I have a similar feeling about this game

why are the club hyping this up as a grudge match ? There were a couple of fights in the last game, so what ? There's no reason to expect there will be a carry over to this game. The days of scores being settled are long gone.

This is a classic Panthers banana skin game, pick up a great win in Sheffield...go down to a hard working Dundee side. We’ll have to be on our guard.
If we are serious about competing, it’s a must-win.

The days of scores being settled are long gone. Fans like us, who regularly attend, know this, but I don’t think they’re trying to appeal to us, they’re trying to sell tickets to the casuals. Let’s be honest, Dundee at home after sellouts against Coventry and Sheffield, they need to try and build some hype up. Block 19 will be back in action for this game though, so the atmosphere won’t be as flat as it has been in previous years after Christmas. Hopefully the fans can lift the team and we can get past the Stars who have found some form.

A reason why we won't win the league. Assured home wins or lower team wins aren't Panthers style. Not enough to do what the top three generally do.

Matt Carter winner written all over it 7 pts in 5 games so far. Would we sign him ?? Can't get the gist of these remarks. Are we saying Matt Carter is a winner and Dundee will win over us as a result? 7 out of 5 is good.

I feel we need to play whistle for one if not both of the games this weekend. Carr has carried us through the recent games along with Herr and with the hectic schedule (including the Continental Cup) coming up we will need to utilise both Goalies.
Based on the recent efforts against Stars I have confidence we will defend appropriately and Whistle is more than capable of helping us win this game.
It would be a good game to see some of the forwards get some confidence and not just be all on Herr, Talbot and Hansen to do the majority of the work.

My point was that It would be very Panthery of us for Carter to be scoring the game winner for Dundee. Not suggesting we’re signing him for the game.

Agree that it's one of those weekends that "looks" "easy" but take an eye of the puck for a second and it'll be no points at all. There are no "easy" games in this league. Carter's return has been nothing short of spectacular so far. At least a point in all his 5 games.

Obviously if they really phone it in they can lose to anyone, but in terms of easy games these two are as easy as it's ever going to get.
Panthers by 5.

Dundee have just won 3 on the bounce including away in Belfast. It's not going to be easy at all.

I think I was saying that we need another regular goal scorer, someone who knows where the net is. Would he have been a useful addition to us.

Putting whistle in will disadvantage us!! You always play your strongest team.. a team with whistle in isnt your strongest team. Carr is in hot form .. he plays both games for me.

If Panthers don’t get 4 points this weekend they want shooting. Stars played tonight then have to travel down to Nottingham and then Manchester will have played four games in five nights....2xGuildford/Cardiff/Panthers. It should be two easy wins.

Absolutely, we can not afford to have the mindset that certain games are easy. Our fans have got to turn up and get behind the team, the players need to know what these games mean, we need to be as up for this one as we are for any game against Cardiff, Belfast or Sheffield.

The Stars will loose their shine. Panthers will be too slick for the Sweaty Socks. Carter will be almost anonymous just like on his previous visit. The Grapes Count = Panthers 5 : Stars 1.

3 up inside 8 minutes.
My 5 might've been pessimistic.
