Think we've won, Herr as per.
Gave them a point though, finish further back from the series than when we started.

Shame we let a two goal lead slip but nice to get a win.

Hopefully that snaps whatever spell they’ve had over us at their place. Shame it went to OT and until the first goal they never looked like scoring. But it’s a handy two points to keep us at the back of the leading pack with them just about in sight. Steelers first defeat in 9 games.

As ever. Any win Sheffield is a great win. But jesus we do it in such a way its hard to enjoy. Although I did jump up and scream at the winner.
Better for at least 100 minutes of the 2 games. Should've scored at least 6 more goals than Sheffield over both games, but ultimately thats yhe problem. Sheffield got 3 points after being significantly outplayed in 2 games.
Well, at least as far as Cardiff are concerned it's as you were. We have to turn these performances in to results, especially against these bigger teams.
Anyway, let's try take the scoreline in isolation. 2 points in Sheffield. Well Done Panthers.

Let's face it, we were probably expecting Sheffield to get the win, especially when they came back from 2 goals (again)
Were these penalties the Sheffield are losing at home kind
Next time we need to beat these guys in regulation

Tbf it makes up for the Coventry head to head where we were ahead for less than 5 minutes across the 120 or so 😂😂

Sam Herr show. We have way too many forwards not up to the job.

All together...,,,Hallelujah But a point to Sheffield. Being positive , keeps us in the race as others can drop points but games are reducing so things have to happen soon.

Can't complain with that. 2nd best for 55 mins and still grabbing a point to claw some back on Cardiff.

Sam Herr show. We have way too many forwards not up to the job. They’ve got Herr,Talbot and Hansen plus Ollie and Perlini. The rest of the forwards are poo poo and just not good enough to wear a Panthers shirt. As for Rheault and Lacho, well what are those two still doing in Nottingham ! 🙄

Lacho was awful yesterday. We are also short on Brits

When they pulled it back to 2-2 I was sat there thinking ‘why do I put myself through this’. When Herr riffled that puck into the top corner though it felt like I jumped 10 feet in the air. What a feeling that was, there’s nothing better than a win in Sheffield and I’m glad I was there. Sam’s celebration was brilliant as well, reminded me of Linger!
I felt we bossed the game for 50 minutes tonight and if Sheffield fans are being honest with themselves they’ll admit they were 2nd best, we gifted them a point though through poor game management. It’s easy to say this now but Wallace should have called a timeout before the start of our 5 on 3. We went into panic mode and were caught between either killing the game off at that point or sitting off them. After they got their 1st goal we should have sat off and boxed Sheffield out, but we didn’t, we made it an end to end game and they took advantage of that.
This win is absolutely massive though, you could see what it meant to the players at the end, tbh it’s capped off a decent festive period for us!
One final point, I hope Deutsch is ok. Connolly gave him an elbow to the head and he didn’t play again after. Hopefully we report it to DOPS and they look into it as that was a bad hit, typical of that rat.
Anyway, well in Panthers!

Last night was our 7th consecutive away win in the league, impressive stuff from the team.

A good result and hopefully breaks the flow of away losses in the steel city.
As suggested by a friend it’s coming up to panthers annual impact signing. Hopefully someone is in the pipeline as a direct replacement for Rheault so he can just finish his studies in peace and give a real challenge for a place in the game night roster

Deutsch out with upper body injury and may also miss the CC final. That suggests concussion to me. So either Rheault comes back in or we go and sign a new player. Personally i'd still like it to be a forward. We have Tetlow to slot in as 6th D and our forward lines could do with bolstering.
