Ah, I take it then Panthers used the words 'broke the contract' somewhere?!
I'm finally catching up here I think.

Only thing I read from Panthers is them stating Farmer wanted to try his luck abroad, which plenty of other players have done in the past by the way. www.panthers.co.uk/home/190703-recruitment

No need for any of it, IMHO. He is not "under an Elite league contract" at all if he has an option within that contract to tell the club he wants to try his luck elsewhere. This reads to me like the club are just making a point that they wanted him to stay but he doesn't, and they've got the hump. At best, it's very badly worded. At worst, it's just plain ar$ey and unprofessional.

So why are Iggy's knickers in a twist over this broken contract rubbish? Have I been asleep for a week and missed something?

I've said it again... the 76th time.

i don’t get how it’s so hard to understand. It’s been stated since he left.

I think the club using the term "Elite League contract", without offering explanation of what that actually means, is perhaps the problem. We've had the explanation from Jord, but they could've made it more transparent.
I don't really see it as a big issue though. They're never transparent about anything.
I'm assuming he wants to go to another EIHL club now, judging by what TFS has said?

Very surprised Corey has taken two Brits to his team, I thought Farms might miss out when Corey signed Hammond. Good Luck to him he should do well for Corey.

So... now thats confirmed who wants to take bets on him having a season in Germany then coming back to the EIHL for season 20/21 in Cardiff for a hefty raise - aka the Mosey Twostep!

Does that mean we'll have another signing announcement 'imminently' to counter the loss of Farmer. Brit pack looking increasingly small this year.

Definitely going to happen.

Although Evan asked Cherno if he could come back and was denied it could be a sneaky way of actually coming back to a different EIHL club, leave here go to Europe for a couple of months, claim it hasn't worked out and then hey ho turn up where you really wanted to go... all assumptions of course

Woohoo.. glad that saga is over. Ain't got to a problem if he returns to the eihl (guaranteed to be sooner rather than later) and signs for another team. It's his life, his career. Especially if he can earn more elsewhere .
