LOL
Don't remember the Yorks mentioning he was on a five minute deal when they signed him... Still, made them look good at the time.

He was indeed, he said he wouldn't last 5 minutes. Mind you he does spend a lot of time up there so maybe he overheard Two-Point talking about the (lack of) contract?

I can’t see how this helps Sheffield’s very obvious defensive issues? Another rat to add to there pack from the sounds of it.

Another note, maybe we should see if St Pierre wants to come to us, he might help us in the face-off department at least😂

Don’t buy this ‘short term ‘ agreement - the fat Brummie estate agent was blithering on about St Pierre was the next big thing in the EIHL - all a bit suspicious really - wonder if St Pierree realised he been sold a pup by the Steelers and decided that the KHL is a bigger stage to play on.

Id be more than willing to give him a shot at panthers. His face winning alone is an asset, it would be worth a shot that he might reach his potential.

OK not Elite League but -- Everyone at The Nottingham Panthers would like to wish Alex Guptill the best as he signs for the @allenamericans of the @echl 🖤💛

Funnily enough, I think we need a Guptil in this team.

This guy looks like he could be worth keeping an eye on. Somewhat of a colourful character.

Hi everyone, been a while since i've posted on here.
Not sure this has been posted but David Rutherford (Belfast) has left the giants for DEAC and that is confirmed via Elite Prospects. Thankfully we don't have to put up with his sharp shooting abilities but a super tough loss for the Giants he would've been a great addition for them in the CHL this season.

A Steelers fan on twitter asked Liam Stewart if he was returning to the league and he replied “News soon”.

Steelers just have a knack of getting business done when they need to. Panthers also need players and need tompull their fingers out

They probably have free cash whereas all our proposals have to go through Neil and be signed off.

Panthers also need players and need tompull their fingers out There are probably hundreds of stay at home currently staying at home waiting for the phone to ring. Nothing will be expected of him except to do a simple job and pass to someone wearing the same shirt. Decent goalscorers are a bit thinner on the ground I guess. What we need is someone not living up to expectations, preferably in a country where he doesnt speak the language. Or someone being the spare and not getting much ice time.

Disagree with this entirely. The players will be there, espeically at this time of year. It all comes down to Panthers being prepared to pay what they need to get the right player in, and do it quickly rather than negotiating every player down.

There are lots of players being released from AHL / EIHL training camps, but can we compete financially with Denmark, France, Austria, etc. Seems the EIHL can't compete with DEL2 wages
