The fact it was revealed that Stewart had been admitted to hospital concerns me, obviously. I'm no medical expert but surely a minor/general illness wouldn't see you put in hospital for a couple of nights. I hope whatever it is, it isn't too serious and is something he'll recover from fully. If this results in him leaving and retiring properly then so be it, health comes first.
I'm disappointed that there's been pretty much zero words of support or well wishing for him, and everyone is more bothered about accusing him of abandoning ship and picking out all the reasons they don't want him. Our own player gets admitted to hospital and all people can do is rip into him.

I usually don't post on this forum, but can't keep quiet any more. This team is a complete joke. As has been said here, we need to clear the club out from top to bottom. The players come in at the beginning of the season and are 1/2 decent, but after a couple of months they have realise it is just a pi$$ up. I mean how many other professional Sports players would you find in the pub next door ( one of the teams sponsors) helping themselves to free drinks behind bar and serving the fans beer. I know some fans would say this is great as they can get their shirts signed and the can tell them what hero's they are, but really this just confirms that they are here for a Hockey holiday and a pi$$ up ! You wouldn't find players in the other teams round the league doing this I am sure. What a Joke, and for a major sponsor to encourage this too! Panthers are about a good time ( beer etc) first and Hockey last, where as Cardiff and Belfast ( with a hockey lead management team) it certainly seems to be Hockey comes first an the beer last. This need to change if we are going to compete! A fine post, welcome to the cage. You'll fit in real well. I am glad you got your shirt signed too! I am sorry I thought they were here to play Hockey, I know it is unreasonable

I'm sure the same issues get brought up season up to season!! I bet my mortgage that this time next year the same discussion will once again be brought up (I'm confident I won t lose my house) and those ST holders calling the club left right and centre will have their ST forms on their breakfast tables ready!!
Only one thing can change the club attitudes and that is all the so called die hards and vote with their feet.. they can't rely on the Saturday night causuals to keep things ticking over.
The ball is in the fans court ...
Also i bet there's one league table Panthers are top of.. That's the fan event one!!

Had to in view of finances and I became a family man. But the incredible account of failures and avoidance with fans makes it no easier to drop back in for a game or two at home. Went to a game the other week but it wasn't here in Nottingham.
