Will take the point for 5 out of 6 points this weekend. Big double header with the Devils at the SSE at the end of the month so still in our own hands.

Glenn, I sincerely hope that you 'do' the Devils too, sooner you win it than them. Was fortunate to visit your fair city last weekend and had a great time. One question I would like to ask is, 'What's happened to the crowds at the SSE'? I know you played Cov on the Saturday (3,500) and us on the Sunday (just over 3,000), isn't this rather worrying?

Must say Stewart is Mr Calm on the PP and he’s does occasionally make some fantastic passes. Just a shame the majority of the time there is no one there to receive them.

Thought Giants ran out of juice by the end, needed to win it early and hold on. Good that we didn't still find a way to lose though, was all us in OT really.
Good for Betteridge to get on the board, worked hard with his line all game, absolutely shaming Lachowicz this year.
Not a great game, but the last of the decent sides visiting the NIC this year (playoffs aside).

Stewart was quality in OT Totally agree with this. Actually looked far and away the best player on the ice in OT, which he should more often in RT. Lovely dish for Perlini’s goal too.

As a spectacle the game as a whole was devoid of any real quality with the exception of 6-8 mins in the middle of the third.
Despite that it was great to see the workman like effort from the team to get the job done, special praise needs to go to the Betteridge/Bolduc/Richard line tonight for plugging away and making things happen.
Munson was solid, kept us in the game and it wouldn’t have surprised me if he’d have been given MOM.
Stewart showed his pedigree, the pass that took out 3 giants to set farmer free to only over deke it was sublime, he was the catalyst for the OT winner. I do think he suffers from playing with a lower standard of player than he’s used to that don’t have the ability to read the game on the same way.
Most importantly above all else it’s great to get a win

Spot on Yotes, Ollie was superb tonight, really deserved his goal and can’t disagree with the MOM award either. Lachowicz on the other hand! Disinterested, lightweight, effortless waste of space. Awful performance

The first half of that game was pretty poor hockey, very flat and I thought it was going to be a comfortable win for the Giants.
Once we saw some passion and physicality the fans woke up and the players in turn fed off this, Ollie’s line played a massive part in that. As a 4th line they’ve been brilliant together all season but tonight they brought the energy and that was the catalyst for our win. The Hughes hit was another turning point, that was a thing of beauty! Why can’t we see this more often?!
I think Stewart is starting to find his stride and fitness now, his playmaking ability is superb and he could have had a hat trick of assists with the chances he created and we fluffed. I like his passion as well, he was loving it when Ollie grabbed the 2nd goal, that’s what I want to see, players who seem like they care.
Munson had a solid game as well, I was a bit apprehensive when I saw he was starting but he was solid against a highly offensive team. He was one contender for MOTM but Ollie was totally deserving of that tonight.
Last night was disappointing but tonight we can pick our heads up.

Well there should be no questions with that view of the hit. Sorry, DOPS will need Munson's goalie cam footage if available.

Waiting for highlights just for the Hughes hit. Oh i do hope he hit Rutherford. 😆 Unfortunately not. That was the first thing I looked for when the Giants player got up. Lovely hit, slighted tinged with disappointment though.
