One frustrating thing from tonight, which could be a positive going forward, was how well we held the puck in the offensive zone but didn’t capitalise on the pressure.
I know keeping possession of the puck is expected on a powerplay but after performances in recent weeks it feels like a step in the right direction.

Only one import down. Rissling,Kovacs and Olsen won’t play but Munson will,so that leaves us with 13 imports, although two are goalies. I meant it isn’t looking too good for Lordo You guys crack me up 😁😁

I just don't understand why you continue to call them Mardiff, I suppose much in the same way people call you Pan-ties and Sheffield the Squeelers. Maybe it's an age thing.

Mardiff, a name born by the excellent Robbie Nudd. Suits the bunch of whiners perfectly. So for me, it stays. Panthers forum, get used to it.

So was Stewart as good as suggested in this game or did the puck just fall his way?
Stats wise it appears he rocked it.

His stats don't lie, he was everywhere last night, always seeming to find open space. Quite shocked to be honest going on comments from here that he wasn't very effective and didn't seem to get involved enough. On last nights showing he is what it says on the tin, and fully deserved his MoM, but future performances this season will be the proof

You lot got the short straw. Doubled his total goal output, and quadrupled his assists for the season in one game.
Hopefully this is what we'll get for the remainder, he's been a long way from the best forward in the league up to now - which his recent history would suggest he should be.

About time imo, we need more of that. Shame he couldn't help our dwindling D out. Congrats on the victory.

Last night was a strange game, with both teams both doing their best both to win and lose. Negatives for both the Panthers and the Giants was defensively they both looked frail with the offences of each team seemingly able to coast in and get shots on net. Panthers can be pleased with their forward lines as when they did get into the offensive zone their big bodies seemed to be able to push our boys about with relative ease and if hadn't been for some fantastic stops from Besko the game could have turned out differently. With the Giants facing Panthers next weekend in a third game in three nights I suspect that the result last night could very easily be turned on its head.
