Good on the club in all fairness as it clearly wasn’t working for Chernomaz, for whatever reason; onwards and upwards. Strachan named coach for the rest of the season so at least there’s a bit of continuity, and hopefully, some stability.

Credit the club for taking necessary action. They get too much flack for not being decisive and making changes but the changes made this season shows that they can be.

Don't wish unemployment on someone, but can't say I'm upset, quite the opposite. Doubt Rick will play any better stuff, but at least it's not the usual total inactivity.

Maybe now we will see the players allowed to play more. Bold move but a good move. Let’s see what happens

Good move, well done Panthers,Cherno was doing nothing and had to go. Liking Hendo as captain and Bolduc as an A too. 👍👍

Got what I wished for a few days back. So pleased it's now and not the end of the season. If it were end of season then 90% of the roster is written off and we start again from scratch. Time for the players to prove what they are capable of and show it was Rich that was the problem. If form doesn't improve through to season end then we will be starting again next time around.

Bolduc given an 'A' a week after telling the fans to "fudge off" 😂
Why not!

From his interview with GM it sounded like he was committed to South Korea.

Bolduc given an 'A' a week after telling the fans to "fudge off" 😂 Why not! That one was brushed under the carpet. The captaincy changes just seem to be temporary, while Lepine is out. Presumably it'll revert when he returns?

Bolduc given an 'A' a week after telling the fans to "fudge off" 😂 Why not! Rather have someone who is passionate enough to respond than to skate off passionless. A change that was needed. One I asked for but I fully expected DC to be bought back in some capacity. Strachs needs is to get behind him. Got a chance at 2 trophies still

Certainly not all his fault I’m sure, but a great deal of it is. Good decisiveness from the club for once, and hopefully a positive final few months of the season lie ahead.

At the end of the day he’s a professional sportsman, not a machine, obviously he was getting abuse, we don’t know what was said to him, but if I was in his position I’d tell them where to go as well. It’s only words, forget about it. He’s shown some passion, let’s see that on the ice now.

Not surprised at this news. The coach has to be judged on the teams performances, of late, and these have been extremely poor. He has recruited the team, so he has to take responsibility for their actions. I suspect there were factions in the dressing room working against him, as he claimed the players didn't play as he wanted. At the end of the day, he had to go. Lets see if anything changes in the next few games.

Wow. Big move from Panthers this. I'm quite surprised/impressed those in charge have actually done something.
