Give over Pidge,I’ve said this every year, where the hell does the money go ? 7000 x £75 ish it’s about £500k plus all the extras. Daylight robbery. It would serve em right if Panthers and Steelers don’t get there ! It goes into funding this minority sport, what’s wrong with that without this windfall we might be up the creek without a paddle, daylight robbery it’s a one off, you don’t have to go, this is our FA cup final exceptyou get the semis and the final, and no aggro. £25 per game what’s the problem. And what exactly does it fund ? Can’t say I’ve seen anything or any investment that would cost £500k plus.

I'm hoping one day Panthers have reduced allocation. Is their fanbase really the biggest in the league does it warrant having 3 blocks more than Sheffield? Our attendances are what they are due to the increased casual Saturday night walk ups. Take them away and it's a different story. Pidge... you do know that whilst the Panthers fans have 5 blocks allocated to us and the Steelers fans 'only' have 2 blocks, theirs are not only far bigger but also have a much better view? I haven't counted them up, but at first glance it wouldn't appear that we have many more seats than Sheffield...

Just think,in one weekend that’s about the same as Dundee’s ticket sales revenue for a whole season !

I'm sure they make some money off it and I would love to see that visibly invested back into the league but I think the £500k figure isn't accurate.

I'm sure Nottingham City Council pay for the arena over Playoffs weekend, with It bringing so many people to the city on an otherwise average weekend.

Morning all, wondered if you guys could help a Steelers fan?
Steelers have block 15 which is behind the players benches, do you know what seat numbers are actually behind the benches? I want to avoid the part where players come in/out and also the part where photographers sit. My youngest wants to be directly behind a bench to offer his ‘support’

Pretty sure the entirety of the front row of 15 is behind one of the benches, other than the bit in the middle for the photo pit:

Would be interested to know the level of interest in the Play Offs this year, considering the teams form. For those who went today, was there a massive queue like there normally is?

Yes it was massive come 9am. Around 60 to 80 people. Some had been there all night. Somebody around 10th in the Queue had been there since about 4.30am. To be honest i've generally had the same opinion as TFS for the last 5 or 6 years. For whatever reason I decided to pop down this year(I think perhaps EMB made me a bit curious as to if it was a better option). I got the seats I wanted but not sure I would go to the effort again next year when I can do what TFS did from a nice warm office or home.

Are the people that queue desperate to sit at the front or something? The last two years I’ve rang up and it’s been easy.

Girls in the box office managed to clear the queue by 10.20 this morning, people started arriving at 5pm last night. The phone lines were very busy early on, one of the people on the travel bus in Scotland was waiting 45 mins on the phone but got the seats in the block they wanted.

About 4 rings then went through the options and straight through to the box office and booked. I think a lot of the waiting outside like the old Oxford Street sales at stupid o'clock in the morning is just another one of those weird Panthers things like quiz nights, airbrushed calendars and never winning the league.

I was on hold for 20 minutes until I got through, got the seats I wanted so couldn't be happier. Only real thing I didn't like was the music the arena choose to play when leaving you on hold.. good lord.
