Each player who scores should have to shotgun a beer, same for any penalties. They'd probably play to lose the semi finals

You’d think the league would have looked at that 3rd 4th place game before now, they have a year to plan something different and folks have been moaning about this for years now, surely something could have been organised before now. I think last year was the highest attended match I’ve seen in a long time . I wonder what the price is this year aswell, should find out tomorrow . Are they announcing tomorrow when they are on sale? I'm guessing it'll around Monday 28th, close to payday The way it's going at the moment, The Quarters may be very interesting I don't think the higher seeds are a cert

Honestly can’t see anything beyond Belfast or Cardiff winning the play-offs, and as much a I hate to say it being a Devils fan, Belfast showed how well they can show up for one big game last year in the Challenge Cup final. So I’m going with Devils v Belfast final, Belfast win. Panthers and Guildford to make the weekend as well.

Ok so if you had a choice now of play off quarter final opponent excluding let’s say Cardiff,Belfast and MK as they all look unlikely, who would you choose to play and who don’t you want ?

I'd still hope to avoid Sheffield. No matter the form they'll find a way to beat us. I'd probably say Dundee as the prefered opponent with Manchester a close 2nd. However it really wont be easy against anybody. All those below us could turn us over, but if we turn up and play to our potential we should beat any of them comfortably.

I heard the announcement was today by the League around 1pm all the arena staff have been called in for Monday morning phone lines.

So long as our presale is restricted - as it says - to our blocks, then there's no real problem with our initial window. Might be the usual complaints from non ST holders, but that's an in house problem.

A phone call from Scotland is the same as one from a few miles away. It's only the ritual of queuing on the morning they miss out on. I find that all a bit crazy considering you can do it from the comfort of home or wherever you may be.

You say that Baggy but the phone lines are horrendous, there are usually 8 lines but I bet your in a queue for at least an hour plus, I for one wouldn't dare look at the phone bill after that one. This is one of the reasons the arena insist that the biggest contingent of fans goes first so they can get them out of the way for when the majority of others go on sale, they are trying to spread out the volume of calls

So why do Steelers season ticket holders have preference over other clubs season ticket holders.

I would imagine the fanbase size has a lot to do with it, and the amount of calls the arena can literally handle at any one point, I know people last year were waiting over an hour on the phone lines and the staff on the phones were bearing the brunt of unhappy customers.

Panthers were 4, 5, and 6 last year, weren’t they?
Would have liked us to be given block 15, but seats are seats, I’ll just be happy if the Devils make it to the weekend.

I'm hoping one day Panthers have reduced allocation. Is their fanbase really the biggest in the league does it warrant having 3 blocks more than Sheffield? Our attendances are what they are due to the increased casual Saturday night walk ups. Take them away and it's a different story.
Not like I 'll be there anyway. I kicked it into touch years ago when I realised I could put the 500 quid I spend to better use..
£84 weekend pass ouch!
And the hockey is pretty much sub standard now

£97 each after March 4th wtf! 😂
I wonder if this money that the eihl are making here will be re invested into officiating and improving that?

Give over Pidge,I’ve said this every year, where the hell does the money go ? 7000 x £75 ish it’s about £500k plus all the extras. Daylight robbery. It would serve em right if Panthers and Steelers don’t get there !

Still more than we get allocated But yes 84 quid is seriously making me think twice this year especially considering the lack of 'spectacle' which is on offer these days.

It depends how much stock you put into those 6-2 defeats we had to Guildford and Fife as well as that 3-0 defeat to Manchester and to a lesser extent that Overtime defeat we had to Dundee. We are assuming that performances and results are going to improve drastically but I really want to see it first. For The Quarter Finals, it should be compulsory that every team provides a webcast. If The Panthers are the higher seeds then I hope they have the 2nd Leg at home like they did last season +At 19:00 on Easter Sunday)

If someone will fork out this much and more for a shirt they'll sell at what price they like. If Nottingham and Sheffield don't make it, that will cause an upset for them. We've been shifted to behind the goal, why not move Sheffield and give the other clubs a chance to take centre stage.

It goes into funding this minority sport, what’s wrong with that without this windfall we might be up the creek without a paddle, daylight robbery it’s a one off, you don’t have to go, this is our FA cup final exceptyou get the semis and the final, and no aggro. £25 per game what’s the problem.
