I'm sorry but this is rubbish.
As stated by cooperphil156 - Gary has far less involvement in the off-ice product due to an ongoing health issue, Calum is day to day activities within the club taking up some of Gary's work & Dan is mainly the social media aspect. Rich is in complete control of the ice product.
Still doesn't really change the basic question, will the club allow Rich to get rid of Lacho etc, given the requirement for British players, or will it be easier for the club to get rid of Rich to keep them on side. Ah right, well I don't know.
It will be more the coach & the owner than the 'hardly meddling' Gary Moran making that call.

It should be purely the coaches choice who he releases, even if it is a Brit we’re talking about. Then again look what happened last time a coach wanted to ship a Brit out,Uncle Gary soon had Mr Ellis out of the door for that one !

The year we won the play offs with Rasto in goal....06/07 I think. Paul Moran then went to Steelers in a silly publicity stunt and if I remember rightly in about 20 games he didn’t score a single point.

Considering Farmer's out, I'm assuming that Lacho will be playing therefore we will soon see if a fire has been lit under him.

Well it is because there is no where near as much meddling as stated in the past. Such the structure is screwed to hell. But the owner is as much to blame as anyone else. Those who blame GM so much need to realise his input is far less than in the past.

Ask yourself this question. Would you want to sign Lacho, or indeed Lee or Farmer, if you were the coach ? Be it end of season or sooner, Lacho will be history with Panthers. Should have made genuine efforts to challenge himself in a better league four or five years back. Much too late now. Also, if or when Hull return to the Elite League then Lee would be an ideal signing back in his home city.

Doubt Lacho will be going anywhere of his own accord, he’ll be hanging around a bit longer waiting for the testimonial cash. If anybody turns up that is....they probably can’t be arsed !

I rekon at least 8 if not 10 other teams would love to have him. I'd be pretty upset if he left us to go anywhere else in the elite league.

It would be a real shame if Lacho went elsewhere, either of his choice or not. Remember the playoff sf winner and the goal v Hamburg. What happened to that player. His general play has improved but so many edges have been smoothed off that he barely makes a contribution to the game. I'd love to see him playing hard, getting near the net etc,but he seems content to just be a role player. He's got skills and imagination, get him used properly or let him go to mk or manchester.

Problem with Lacho is, yes he has talent but he is afraid of his own shadow. As soon as he is on the puck he’s looking to offload it. He will only go into the corner if he doesn’t have the puck. The way the game is going might suit him better but I prefer Betteridge if I am honest, he just needs to up his end product.
