That is so so funny, not so much the result. Any team in this league can beat anyone else over 60 mins,

All the good work of the previous weekend pee’d away again. Really fed up with the Panthers. It’s just Groundhog Day again and again. How is it that no matter the coach and personnel, the same mistakes are made over and over? A weekend to consolidate has been utterly wasted. The problems with Panthers are much deeper than the coach. Corey was an easy target for the doom and gloom lot. He wasnt blameless, but he was not what is fundamentally wrong at the club. We all know where the major problems lie but it’s a waste of breath talking about it.

Can’t have been the Steelers as they are crap this year? The Steelers were 2-0 down in Dundee tonight with 1.06 left to play......and won 3-2 in O/T. 😡 I think that’s 29 games for Pacha without a win against Sheffield...that’s a cosmic grade statistical anomaly.

Ten points out of twelve or whatever it is maybe, but this team is not winning the league this year. No fit spares sitting in the stands this weekend Mmmm 🤔 Coincidence....I think not !!!

Shuff snatch victory from the Jaws of defeat again, whilst Panthers snatch defeat from Jaws of victory... Am surprised no one's blamed Iginla yet with "panthers cruising to win" & "no too many men penalty yet", which it went downhill from then on...

Before we go into meltdown and start blaming the management let’s look at where we went wrong tonight. In places like Coventry you’ve got to be squeaky clean, because you can guarantee that Smith is going to take any opportunity to call a player. The Blaze had TEN power plays to our five tonight, so we’ve spent a period of the game in the box, you won’t win many games that way.
I have to agree that the too many men calls are getting ridiculous, we are easily the worst team in the league for that and too be honest it’s gone past being annoying.
I was positive that we got a point last night but tonight I’m not, it should have been a regulation win. The decision making of a number of players cost us tonight, I look forward to having Rheault and Hendo back to mix it up a bit.

Surely that can't be anyone else's fault but the the dumb Coach and dumb Players can it?

If you’re looking for an argument Karl I’m not interested. You seem happy with a mediocre weekend, I’m not. Let’s leave it at that.

I’m not looking for an argument at all, I just believe if you are going to say “we all know what’s wrong” that you should actually back it up and say what’s wrong instead you saying “wasting your breath”...

There is some chatter that Chernomaz wanted to bring in his own coaches, but had to take what he was given (Rick & Dan), so perhaps Cherno's preferred options can actually count? Anyway, didn't see the game so won't comment on the performance, but from a basic view of things (their form, their lack of numbers), from 3-1 up with 10 minutes left we should see that out.

A frustrating loss. We should have won that. Not much more to say on that. Individual errors and, in my opinion, players thinking the game was over at 3-1 lead to our down fall.
To put a positive spin (ish) had we won one, lost one and got 2 points from the weekend, how would people have felt then? But we’ve got some home games ahead now. I won’t write ya off until I see where the land lies after the new year. It’s out of our hands but I really didn’t expect a new coach to get it right first season

As you say it’s not the end of the world and we’re not out of the race. Our next 3 league games are at home against Dundee, Guildford, MK, then we go to Dundee away before Christmas, this is a good time to put another run together before we face them lot.

I also think Chernomaz is a finding more and more about how the league actuallly is as this season progresses.

As i understand it it’s not the coach it’s the players who fall foul of too many men pens. I once asked a Panthers player to tell Sean Mcaslan to get his backside off the bloody ice quicker instead of sauntering leisurely off and he said “I know it drives me mad because I’m the one who’s waiting to jump on when he comes off” !

I've not watched a game for several weeks, sunning myself in Asia, I wish I'd stayed there.
Webcast last night I was so frustrated that we couldn't turn over a team we were clearly better than but some nights that happens, I got over it hoping we'd put it right today.
Went to the game tonight and my God what has changed in my absence? Absolutely nothing.
There is quality on this team, no denying that. What we have in quality though we lack severely in experience and intelligence.
A couple of penalties tonight were 50/50, some nights they are called and some they aren't but the rest were absolutely correct so there is no blame to be laid at the feet of the officials tonight.
There is no game management skills in this team.
I've been seeing the results over recent weeks and fair enough we have picked up a few wins but any team contending for the title can't throw away two points like we did this weekend. One maybe but two is just same old Panthers.
I will happily have a bet with anybody on here for several pints at POFW that we won't finish within 10 points of the league winners.

Anyone know how many too many men penalties Panthers have taken this season? See separate thread...
