3 point weekend!
Regards Doty seems it was a bit mutual.. but if I had to decide on someone getting released it would be him.

Offensively we were absolutely rubbish tonight, the sooner Rheault and Henderson are back the better. I know Doty has been released but there’s a few other players who aren’t bringing what is required.
The team were flat from the off, the fans were just as worse, as we’ve seen over the numerous years it’s never a good combination. We were very lucky to get anything out of the game tonight. Olsen and Garnett are the only players bringing the performances required atm.

Apart from Olsen and Garnet we are a very average side. At least the forwards have started scoring.

The first 50 mins was the most boring hockey I've seen all season,so flat so slow and no spark at all.
It only came to life when the refs started calling everything and we felt hard done by then we upped the tempo a bit.
Garnett had a really good game I thought despite Lee scoring past him!
Oh and Lepine finally threw a hit!

Think Rich needs to keep his trap shut, how can you berate the players for stupid penalties then take one yourself to leave a 5 on 3 and watch Fife score again, just like in Fife. Think last nights match caught up with us tonight dull as dishwater and no spark.

In a game with littered with issues other than Olsen and Garnett who have been rightly praised by others already I feel Tetlow deserves a lot of credit.
Given a higher number of shifts and minutes he acquitted himself very well. Did the basics as needed and in my opinion is worthy of the continued ice time where possible.
One thing that would help the crowd a long in terms of their frustrations is if they understand the basic rules before they start having aneurysms over completely accurate calls against us.

And that's the problem.. once upto a time the Panthers fans had a reputation as being very knowledgeable.. how times change !!

Both the abuse of official calls were justified, Rich had no argument on the too many men call and Kovacs decided to continue arguing when we’re going on the pp. I think the majority of fans were frustrated and needed to vent at someone.

As a Flyers fan I am disappointed that we didn't come away with the win tonight.
I thought we controlled the tempo and large parts of the game and played composed, confident hockey. The Panthers never put us any concerted pressure and we only seemed to loose some composure after Panthers first goal, as it seemed to give your guys some life, and the last two minutes of regulation.
Garnett certainly deserved your MoM, he had the more work to do.
Panthers discipline could well have got them over the line in normal time but Farmer took a stupid penalty that led to Gauthiers goal and then both Chernomaz and Kovacs taking extra unnecessary penalties

Why should we give the officials an easy ride for Christ’s sake?
I’d much rather have an arena full of fans baying for their blood and berating them for any decision against the Panthers. Give me “you don’t know what you’re doing” a million times, rather than a silent arena full of fans nodding in silent appreciation of the rules.
Encourage the away fans to chant, applaud the opposition, be nice to the stripeys. Yeah that’s the Panthers way at the nicey nicey NIC.

I'm glad we have a coach who's prepared to tell the refs what we've known for years... That they are bloody crap! And I don't want to hear "without refs we won't have a game" rubbish. They are incompetent idiots

Think everyone is missing the main issue here. The after game signing session was a great success.

They are incompetent idiots It was an obvious too many men penalty, even I managed to count all 6. He then dropped us right in it. It's one thing the crowd jeering the refs, quite another him costing us goals. I can imagine what your response would've been had a certain former coach done that.
