What happened to Blood?

Mosey is probably the replacement for Parisi and we wil find a replacement Dman for Blood will pitch up in Cardiff soon. That seems more feasible to me. If he doesn’t like playing D as he has said whilst playing for you then I guess he’s the cover for Faryna? However, he is a different type of player to Faryna as well? Faryna is quick but I hazard a guess not as quick as Mosey? I was hoping Mosey is a better playmaker but reading a few posts on here that might not be the case? He definitely doesn’t bring the physicality like Faryna nor possibly the x-factor for the guys when their playing flat (like the last 3 games) in getting them fired up? Lord I think does like utility players to cover for injuries. So we lose out on physicality it front and gain speed? The replacement for Blood will be the replacement meant for Parisi now I guess? Soo if they’ve been tracking 3 or 4 players this will now be down to 1 or 2? Possibly signed already and just waiting for the paper work? All supposition........ He’s not really a playmaker. His biggest weapon is speed. He’s also quite a streaky player. He’ll have spells where he can’t stop scoring but will then go through patches where he can’t buy a point

Knowing what Cardiff offered Mosey before he re-joined us (It was insane), this must at least put Cardiff in to 3rd place on the wages table. Chortle type smiley. Err, think you’re forgetting the wage for Blood and the HUGE compensation package. Mind you, we might now be looking to build a new arena in the BAY - reclaim the land form the sea? Still 4th. Ok, you clearly know best.... Still 4th.
Mosey is quick, really really quick. He's also excellent on the penalty kill. He can hit but he's not overly effective in the dirty areas. There's little to none playmaking ability at all. He has a lovely backhand 5-hole breakaway move which EIHL goalies could hardly read. More a defensive two-way winger than a D man. If you use his speed correctly he can be game changing, but don't expect any kind of consistency.

I’d say your spot on with that Mosey profile Jord. Although the breakaways more often than not are missed.

22+22 on a dodgy Panthers last year, somewhat surprised but they're decent numbers.
There was a period towards the end of his first season with us where we were almost entirely reliant on him doing something, and he often delivered it.
He's a decent signing for them, it'll be interesting to see what impact he can have, if any.

History says it's a big 'if'.
I keep hearing Lord is a great 'coach', if he gets the best out of Evan I'll be impressed.

Mosey is a very good signing for any team in this league, including us.
His biggest drawback is his finishing but that looked improved last season compared to his first spell with us.
His biggest threat is breaking out from D, catching the opposition flat footed.
All the best to him...except against us.

Wouldn’t have particularly wanted him back after his second stint here. Wouldn’t have disliked it if he came back but still wouldn’t have wanted him to.

Not bothered, a bang average forward that shot off as soon as he got a whiff of something better. Shouldn’t be disappointed about a player not coming back here when he never showed the club any loyalty.

Mosey is a spent force. In sport they say "never go back" and he should not have returned to the Panthers. Quick, yes. But, little positive end result and not the most engaged when the going gets tough.

And yet Lepine was the signing of the century for Panthers? He's proving similar so far.

And yet Lepine was the signing of the century for Panthers? He's proving similar so far. Mmmm there’s a definite pattern with returning Panthers players. Wonder why that is ?

Anyone thinking they were going to get a Lepine akin to his first stint is sadly mistaken. The league has got quicker but more relevant than that is he is now on a uni course. He ain't going to risk a hand injury or even concussion which would affect his studying...

Its not just a Panthers thing lots of player return to former teams and just don't perform so well or has they were expected to

Bruce Graham was another. Hero to Zero through an ill-fated return. Have to admit I have been a bit disappointed with Lepine. I was a huge fan of his during his first stint. Definitely not the hitting & fighting machine he was before. He's just a steady stay at home D-man nowadays.

But, little positive end result and not the most engaged when the going gets tough. His statistics say otherwise. His second year was actually his best year for us, but after returning from America he very nearly matched the same level of production. A utility player who puts up 0.7ish PPG would seem fairly useful to me, and apparently did to Rich too.

David Ling is the exception here. He was just as amazing the second time around. Just a shame family problems brought it to a premature end
