What do you guys think about the triple header now? We haven’t even got a double header in Scotland this season Are teams so deep and stacked even in Scotland that a triple header is just one game too far now? Especially for a netminder? They’re not a good idea because they just make it unnecessarily tough on the team, not least the goalie. Especially so with an ageing goalie like Garnett,he can’t play 3 in 3 so you end up playing the back up in one game. Cardiff don’t even have a double header in Scotland yet Panthers have TWO triple headers which just shows the difference in mentality between both clubs. Triple headers are all about saving money ! Using up a lot of games in two big Scottish blocks also takes the variation of different opponents away to an extent and gives you other blocks of consecutive tough games to fit in at other times where you play the big boys too close together. Seems a far better idea to me to forget triple headers and get a more even spread of fixtures over a season. Irrespective of Garnett’s age, I wouldn’t have thought any goalie should be playing three games in three nights; that goes for outstakers too I might add.

I agree they certainly shouldn’t be playing 3 in 3, it’s just asking for injuries and fatigue to occur, especially travelling up Friday then playing the same day too. If it was my team I’d do a double header trip playing Friday and Sunday and give the boys Saturday off. Might even buy them all a nice round of golf on one of the major courses but tell them in return I want two big performances and 4 points ! 😉

Might as well call it and go home. Surely no one will ever employ Thommo again after this??

We simply can't get out if this mess until a 80%+ import clearence and a new netminder.
Can't believe the people that defended Thommo, his final act was to build one of the worst EIHL rosters of all time.
So bad that Raphael Bussieres would be our premier forward!

4-0, mid first period. Could get pretty ugly unless Cardiff knock off early (like, now ).

Would be a huge embarrassment if Cardiff failed to win the league.

Fife's turn to get a good kicking from Cardiff, 6-1 with a period to play. They're toying with us all. It's cat & mouse. Amazing what can be done with a very well run club isn't it.

The Yorks are the mayors of Jam City. The Steelers way. Soft penalty for me, especially that close to the end. But it's Sheffield, they'd have probably found a way regardless.

Ridiculous from Coventry. That was Rob Farmer from the blue line bad from Lake. Why mention a Panthers player when it's a game not involving them. Totally pointless
