Game over for Sheffield. Giants v Flames Devils v Panthers Happy with that. It's nowhere near easy, but we've matched up well against the Devils all year and I think our team's size and speed matches up better against the Devils than against a small fast team like the Flames.

Based over what I have just seen, you've gotta fancy our chances against that version of Cardiff. This is a very good Semi-Final line-up indeed. Very interesting

Should be two good games.
Agree we match up well against Cardiff for whatever reason, so probably a good tie for us.

Cardiff overcame some adversity but they made hard work of it. They’re going to be top drawer games I reckon, can’t wait!

Also, to note, as long as Guildford don't win the playoffs, we qualify for the Conti Cup next season

That was some choke from Glasgow considering they were 3 up in Guildford

Guildford have had our number this season
Clan must do better but one thing we shouldn't do is chop and change the coach. Although some of our fanbase think he isn't coming back.

Clan announcement for 7:30pm, my guess is either Pete is staying or it could be our first signing for next season

Pete is confirmed for another season Are you pleased? All his closing speeches etc seemed to allude to him leaving, its a good move and brings some stability, I thought he had a good season at the Clan.

Hopefully we'll get an announcement for our Coach sooner rather than later, let's face it, Play Off Weekend is probably the start of speaking to players

Who’s your money on for Panthers coach ? A lot of whispers it’ll be Henderson..I’ll be underwhelmed if so as you just know Rick and Dan will be supporting again..

Put it this way I don't see them going down the cherno route. It will be someone with knowledge of the eihl. Henderson should have some contacts at least

I'm happy Pete is staying, stability is good and 4th was a good building point after the poor Tripp season.
We've got rid of a few players including Rumpel and Sullivan. Plus I'm liking the names of players being linked with us.

Letting him go must mean there are going to be some British departures and additions from other teams in the league, it’s going to be interesting to see what happens.

Would not be surprised to see some of the better Brits from the MKL skeleton being picked up or picked over by Russell for his Clan roster.

The big thing for me this off season is to see what happens in Cardiff and Belfast.
Cardiff would have 15 players who would be 30+yrs old come the start of next year if they retained all their players. 6 of those would be over 35 come the end of the year.
Giants have already lost Shields, Vandermeer is 39, Higgins came out of retirement this year, Rutherford tried to retire a couple of years back iirc. Again they have several players who are 30+, 4 more are already over 35 already (excluding Sheilds & Vandermeer).
Both may keep the core, but I think there will be changes a plenty come summer.
