It should bother everyone but I guess that's the Panthers fanbase attitude very blasé. Do you think NHL teams would let some of their overseas players arrive when they want for training camp in September ? Quite right. If it was three forwards missing who were each pencilled in for different lines, what does that do for early season chemistry ? F.A. that's what

Who come’s up with these rumours?😂 To be honest it’s a bit weird that one of the first signings is going to be the last to be here, so it’s not rocket science that people are going to make assumptions. It is weird but none of us know Kovacs, or his situation. He could have personal issues that need to be tended to, he might have messed up his paperwork or the club could have made an error. The club have never been honest with us about mistakes in this area, plus there have been cases of players bailing, which is why people panic and speculate. Calum has denied it so that’s good enough for me.

A short statement on why Kovacs isn’t here wouldn’t hurt.

Even then though they don’t have to give an explanation, just an ETA would be nice.

But by tweeting Panthers, you're essentially tweeting Calum, who has already confirmed there is no isue to worry about? Calum has answered yes,but he’s still left it wide open though. This is the sort of thing that’s annoys people with Panthers. When they want something or are selling tickets it’s rammed down fans throats at every opportunity. But a fan asks a simple question and they just ignore it even though they can see plenty of people asking the same question.

Exactly it's not hard to say something like "paperwork still being processed and we expect him to be here in due course etc"

BREAKING NEWS: COMPANY ADVERTISES IT'S PRODUCT TO PEOPLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA A LOT Is that really abnormal? The amount of adverts on social media nowadays shows how effective it is, and Panthers are just doing the same. They'd be failing if they didn't. You've also argued with your own point... "Calum has answered it" followed by "they just ignore ". If he isn't coming, then yes we need to know. But we don't need to be told exactly where he is and when. If he typed the same messaged of "absolutely nothing to worry about" under @panthersihc rather than his own Twitter, would that really be any different?

It’s very amateurish to be honest. As a fair comparison Devils don’t operate this way neither do Notts County (a local club in a different sport). They get their players in for a full pre-season and games. Panthers get them in late every year. Thus they pay them for less weeks. We take 8 weeks sourcing replacements mid-season after injuries when ‘the market is dry’ yet other clubs get them during the same time. We pull in a decent rosta to stay competitive and put bums on seats whereas Cardiff get in a top rosta with the aim of winning all trophies available. Our main aim is to maximise profits. The arrogance at the top of this club is based on years of getting away with just this. Is the product still entertaining. Yes. Do we challenge for the title? Until about Christmas. Is that enough for most fans? Yes. Could we still make a profit and win the league most years? Yes. It annoys the diehards but most ‘fans’ don’t care as it’s just a social activity on a Saturday for them, so it probably won’t change. The difference at Devils and Notts County are the people at the helm. Alan Hardy at Notts has just sunk £400k into the club to buy new players. He is owner/ fan. Black is a businessman, we are his customers.

Can't believe you're holding Hardy out as seemingly a paragon of good business sense. The difference at Notts County is that Alan Hardy won't be getting any of his money back any time soon, and he's happy with that. His ego is being massaged, it's all good for him. Normal business rules don't apply in football. Notts County limited is £6m+ in the red, lost £1.5m in the year (a number that is probably not far short of Panthers entire annual income) and is basically only a going concern because Hardy and his companies have guaranteed it. All Panthers thus need to do is find is a fan with a few million quid they don't need.... Form an orderly queue.
Devils Entertainment Limited is the Devils operating company, I believe, and that is firmly in the black, accounts wise. Aladdin Management Limited is also firmly in the, ahem, black. Kelman is a businessman too, the Devils are his "job", he just has a slightly different approach.

Just as i suspect a lot of other people would too. Calum has answered one part of the question. He didn’t answer when or why he isn’t here 3 months after he signed though. He said there’s no issue or problem....but there clearly is or Kovacs would have been here last week !

Bet you were buying a shirt or enquiring about sponsorship haha ! 🤣 Oooh i may make the odd game if it suits me,once they’ve actually got a full roster in and if it looks like we might challenge Cardiff. Got to keep up to speed with what’s happening on the ice occaisionally you know or you’ll be telling me i haven’t watched them. There’s plenty of free tickets floating around. 😀

This discourse is based around one issue, communication. The ball is firmly in the club's court.

This discourse is based around one issue, communication. The ball is firmly in the club's court. Very much so, and while I don’t accept that the club have to disclose everything player-wise, ignoring emails is rude & ignorant. Even a generic email response would be better than simply ignoring a sincere question.

Meanwhile Sheffield are without Lawrence and are making light of the situation. Imagine the scenes from the Anti-Panthers establishment on here if our club was making memes about players being awol.
We ALL agree that ideally yes everyone would be here now and yes I would like to know why they aren't. What we disagree on is that we have a right to know.
Since we're into football analogies, Chelsea's goalkeeper Courtois hasn't turned up for pre-season training for 3 days. This is due to him wanting a transfer. However, absolutely nothing on Chelsea's website explains this. It's only because Sky Sports/BBC et al have reported this that fans are aware. Because we don't have this insight from the national media, we don't get the news.
The Panthers do not need to release every inch of detail.

If you read my post properly I referenced two different approaches both of which the teams’ fans seem to prefer. It shows a vision and relentless aim to succeed. Neither guarantees success but it identifies that it is at least your aim. One depends on the benefactor approach, the other on better pragmatism than Panthers can offer. If the Devils are in the ‘Black’ at the same level as the Panthers ( which I doubt ) with 2.5k less a week and looking at the leagues their new signings are from, someone at the Devils has some serious business acumen. We seem to get a shed load of guys on semi- retirement plans doing business degrees ironically... Maybe we should offer Kelman a job? 🤔

You're going on about us having players on semi-retirement plans doing business degrees? Yet that is exactly what Blood, Dixon and Linglet are. Devils average squad age is 30.09 Ours is 26.52 so your argument isn't really valid
