Would be happy with that. We could do with keeping all of them from last year and adding a forward to replace Clarke. I could see Hook to Clan with Russell and Peacock to Panthers. 3 years ago we should have signed Peacock, but if he's not making the gb squad I dont see him being of use to us going forward. Hook would be a different matter though. I believe the problem with Peacock to Panthers is a certain Mr Moran. Don’t know the in and outs but there was a bit of a sizeable disagreement some years ago between Peacocks dad and GM.

Yeah maybe we should have but Clarke has retired now and we do need another senior Brit. Why? We already have have 5 Senior Brits, assuming they all return as rumoured.

Thats what we need to consider here, if we have more than 5 senior brits then someone has to sit out.

Yeah maybe we should have but Clarke has retired now and we do need another senior Brit. Peacock is a proven EIHL player. Would prefer Hook for a potential and the fact he counts as an U23 but wouldn't be disappointed if Peacock rolled up. Edit I'm sure there are other Brits who didnt make the GB squad who could do a good job for us, like Josh Batch. I always forget where we are on this but I think Gospel is now an over 23 this season. Therefor if he dresses he has Clarkes slot and we are at capacity. Any other over 23 coming in would mean having to sit another. Of course there is a debate to be had over who is an upgrade for Lacho, but the likelihood is that ain't gonna happen though. Hook as an under 23 is therefor more valuable as he could ice in addition to the overs.

Rumour on THF that Sam Duggan has left his team in Sweden. Would quite like him at Panthers. Think he has more potential than Kelsall

With regards to Hook I didn’t realise he’d had such a decent points return last season, 11 goals and 15 assists in 56 league games. As an u23 Brit that’s some decent scoring depth to add in to the line up.

Article says the Yorks are signing his brother too, can't really see much to be jealous of there either (assuming he doesn't count as British).
Strange move from Sheffield, if correct.

Losing the best British forward not just in our team, but arguably the league, would be a catastrophe. I sincerely hope you're talking out your backside on this one!
