Nice win and by more than a goal and scored more than 2!
Hopefully we’ve turned the corner?

Sign a couple of goal scorers and it might happen more often As of next Tuesday we can pick up players on a 3 month visa. This will take them to the day after POFW. Pay them £4K a month and they won’t pay tax. I’d be seriously surprised and disappointed if we didn’t bring at least one new signing in.

I noticed Gagnon didn’t ice in the third or am I missing something? He came out at the end of the game and looked ok.
Good win, just what we needed. Played with a lot of intensity and all the lines played their part. This is how they should be playing every week. Though Lightning seemed to get the stuffing knocked out of them with those quick goals.

If you decided not to go to that game purely due to recent form, than you missed a cracker. Nice to see some goals spread over the team again and hopefully build more confidence up. Mosey was massive again for us - maybe he’s the catalyst to this teams performances this year.

Now that's a bit more ruddy like it!
6 goals, 6 goalscorers... and would have been a fair few more had Miika Wiikman not made some absolutely cracking saves.
Still more work to do, can't even start to think about resting on any laurels... but that was a good bit of work out there tonight.
And it was nice (and WELL overdue!) to see Lindhagen get Man Of The Match... he works his backside off every game, doing a lot of the 'support' work that very rarely gets any praise, and because he doesn't put up big numbers he always seems to get overlooked.

I expected us to win but it was a tight game initially & their first goal was lovely. I was impressed that Panthers kept doing what they needed too & it would have been easy for them to get frustrated and start taking dumb penalties given the recent form, save for the Coventry wins. Really enjoyed the game & it was nice to see Miika get lots of love from his ex team mates too. Great game all round.

Couldn’t be their tonight due to work but I’m pleased we got the win and it sounds like we’re starting to get back on track to how we were playing earlier in the season, which is positive. We move onto a big weekend now, hopefully we will have some news before it with regards a new signing.

Best hockey I've seen for weeks. Really was good to see us create a whole heap of chances. 1st period, I thought it was gonna be another game of creating chances but failing to score, but the 2nd period changed that. Didn't think MK offered a great deal going forward. Their 2 goals were very nice, and their one powerplay was threatening considering they hit the metalwork a few times, but other than that, I felt we were always going to win that game. Had it not been for Wiikman, we could have got to double figures.
What has happened to Nickerson? What happened to the "Take no Crap" no nonsense style he was effective for? He looked like a distinctively average D-man last night. We were checking them left right and centre and he did nothing to stop it. Strange.
Sets us up nicely for the weekend, and Sundays game in particular will be the real showing as to how much we've turned this corner.

DOPS has happened to Nickerson, I'd say. or the fact that he can't play that style for ever. He's been pretty quiet since he left Fife, I'd say. Certainly compared to his first year in Fife! Nice to see Perlini get a Tony Hand assist on Brown's first goal. Based on the footage on twitter, should surely be 16 from 71 (maybe also 91 as was announced at the time). Will be changed, I'd hope.

Glad we won but rather than doing what most of our fans seem to do i.e. Sound off when we are awful ( which we have been for about a dozen games) then go happy clappy when we win a couple of easy games I'm going to stick to what I said. I'll be back when the club's passion matches that of the fans. Sign two players and I will be straight back. Hockey is expensive when you buy 5 tickets every time you come... As I've said previously. We can buy the league every year. We aren't asking for that but matching up well against the top 3 would be nice. The minimum should be a title every 3 years. I make it 1 one in 37 years. The Christmas double- header was a disgrace and should not be swept under the carpet!

It's also noticable that other clubs seem to be bringing in bodies whilst since the debacle on the 27th, the Panthers have been silent. The next two games are vitally important with Sunday's visit to Wales likely to be season defining. I hope Neilson has fine tuned his laser.

Last night was an enjoyable game, with the team playing well, and I personally will call something as I see fit. You’re right, three wins doesn’t mean everything is wonderful & the team have to keep up the performances to claw back some good will from the fanbase. Having said that, I’m not going to beat the vendetta drum that I genuinely believe some of our fanbase enjoy doing; wanting the team to lose so they can say “ I called it.”

Personally, I've never wanted the team to lose a game. Can't answer for others but the happy clappy reference is something I have seen over many years not even just with reference to this year so I'll stand by that. We have a lot of casual fans who come for a night out and alot of others blinded by the drivel that comes out of the propaganda machine. Then there are those who have seen it all before and know that a team with this support base and revenue should always have a full roster and deliver something better.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. "Happy clappers" is a much-abused and overused terms by some for anyone who isn't unremittingly negative about the team. Yes, there are definitely some fans who probably could be called such (although I don't think there are any who post on this forum any more!) and they can be quite annoying (personal opinion only). At the other end of the scale there are some who only seem to be happy when they're miserable - and when trying to make others exactly the same way! Moan moan moan when things are going badly, but are often nowhere to be seen when things are going well. If the former can be criticised (and it seems to be the favourite sport of some) then should it not also be open season on the latter?

Agreed. I've been more of an occasional reader on here than poster. Do the latter post on here? For me, I'd be delighted if we did well.
