But we will win that game, MK are in a horrendous slump too and can’t travel.... after we win there will be so much spin about us qualifying for the semis it’ll make you dizzy. However, I won’t be parting with another penny, and we have decided we won’t be renewing the season tickets next year, this is just a season too far. I’m not sure what’s going on but what we don’t have is accountability in this club and a real desire to win. For all Sheffield’s faults there is no way Tony Smith would tolerate this... we are just not ruthless enough on or off the ice and there is too much sentiment with many of the fans and the club know it.... Tony Smith is tolerating this though, Sheffield's league position is just as bad as our when you consider games played. It's only 2 wins over a team who couldn't score in a brothel that's papering over the cracks in Sheffield. Sheffield will come crashing back down to earth very soon, their fans will be calling for Thompson’s head again. I hope they fail in the Continental Cup, as they won’t win anything else.

Shalla signs for Blaze and scores a "Hat Trick" on Saturday and another Monday Which would prove Shalla isn't the problem. I'm hoping he does indeed sign for another elite league team and score a shedful

Another player who came here with good creditable quickly became a boo boy got booted then went to blaze and scored a hatful

Whatever Shalla does for someone else, he needed cutting from our squad. He wasnt working and taking up an import slot.

This is a game for Bussieres to really step up, being brought in as a “power forward” I feel he hasn’t lived up to this at all and we lose a big physical factor with Gagnon being banned. Pacquette will potentially be able to run the show if he chooses knowing we have a big deterrent off the ice so it’s a good chance for Bussieres to step into that role.

Was wearing a full mask the other day. Unlikely he's going to mix it with Pacquette, unless he goes the Fitz route of course.

He can hit more, get some scrums going etc. He needs to show that he won’t be pushed around if it comes to it.

With Shalla released you’d think this is the game that the players will step up and perform to save their jobs and be the game we will turn our fortunes around. Scruffy win for the boys tonight

not sure how the change of 1 player is going to make any difference the whole team is missfiring. did we start this slump when Galbraith got injured? be funny if we win with him back in nets although I could see us going 10 without a win as we very rarely win in Coventry.

It’s nice to see that the management believe that a win here will finish the year on a high!
Why cant they just show a hint of humility and say something along the lines of a win here and we can start afresh in the new year.
I do hope we win, and i do hope that the sell out crowd gets to cheer!

That statement is a tiny snapshot that illustrates the cultural problem that runs deep at panthers. Not possible to finish the year on a ‘high’ after the debacle of recent weeks. On a positive note maybe but not a high ! Fingers crossed for a win to break this awful streak

Scored a goal and they look like they're trying. Still turning ourselves over in poor places, but 1-1 after the first.

Couple of goals from the forwards, 3-2 after 2.
Blaze seem to struggle with our power play, weird.

Good to see Tetlow getting some proper game time, he looks decent! he’s looked the part so far, maybe it’s time for Corey to play him every game, give him shifts and keep the defence fresh, he’ll learn a hell of a lot more that way
