Would you really want to go back after this kind of treatment? PAying into a club that have such disdain for their fans? It certainly makes you think but it's not the fault of the guys wearing the Jerseys and I guess you can't just turn it off after nearly 20 years. It's also the people you meet along the way and now my son is hooked so he's missing out as well. I get that. Fair play. This is what happens when there is no competition for any business. They can screw their customers and they have to come back due to lack of alternatives. I hope they lift your ban. They are lucky to have your loyalty in spite of the atrocious treatment.

An extremely long shot Rob but what about signing up(or somebody to do it on your behalf) to the pub quiz night next week and maybe see if you can talk a player or two into having a word with the powers that be.
I don't know if it's an 18+ only event being in a pub but also a chance for your son to meet a few players that he isn't having the pleasure of watching at the moment.
As I say it's unlikely to have any effect but don't have any other except continuing to plead your case in writing.

I think the event is being organised by the club - so if Rob was to attend it would probably inflame the situation - obviously he cannot be banned from the pub as such unless it is a "closed shop" event, but sadly possibly not a good idea to go - just wish the matter could be resolved to both parties satisfaction - not good PR at the moment, but not really affecting the club as there is little or no media coverage. May be a good time for mediation on both sides

Thanks for the thoughts. Unfortunately the ban covers all Panthers events.
I didn't hear anything back from my email yesterday but hopefully the office staff are just waiting on word back from Mr Black. Fingers crossed for some news today.

Unfortunately no reply at all from the Club to the email I sent last Saturday regarding the ban. Really keen to get this sorted and get back to supporting the lads on the ice.
I'll take some more advice and decide what route to go down next.

Need to disband the Trust i reckon Rob for your ban to get lifted. Otherwise they will probably assume you are still involved behind the scenes.

Sadly I agree, I can’t see them letting you back in anytime soon and if they didn’t respond to your last email I assume they’re just ignoring you. I’m hoping this is resolved for you but they’ll probably want to send a strong message and will not want to back down.

Even if I wanted to (which I don't) I couldn't disband the Supporters Trust. I'm just a paid up member like a couple of hundred others.

Feels a bit weird watching the messages going up about the Christmas game getting close to a sell out. That game has been part of my Christmas routine for years and years. It's certainly going to be strange not being there this time.
Hoping for a 4 points this weekend which would put is in a really strong position going into the very busy holiday period.
Still hoping to get the ban revoked asap and get back to supporting the guys at the NIC.

I've offered the club 2 Testimonial shirts for them to auction off for charity in return for revoking my ban.

Have the club responded to any of your communications? Or are you still out in the cold?

I am with you on this Rob, only been to 1 game since your ban was imposed and that was to see CSZ Lions, I had promised to take someone to see this game and already purchased tickets.
To be honest looking at highlights don't think I am that bothered
Playing golf and spending monies on days out and upgrading equipment, at least I have something to show for my £

If it was just me I'd probably accept defeat but as it's affecting him as well I'll keep plugging away politely. Maybe they will have a change of heart with the season of good will upon us.

Maybe delete threads like this in case someone from the club is watching.
Ask people to stop emailing the club to lift the ban.
A different approach may work

Emailing them all the time isn’t working, give them some space.

This may be a daft question but have you actually apologised? Clearly there’s something that Mr Black is offended by? I mean, I have to say when I’ve seen your tweets to the club about the shirt offer, it still came across, to Me anyway, that you are still telling them they were wrong but trying to get them to lift the ban. Whilst you keep telling them they’re wrong, what incentive is there for them to life it?
I wish nothing but sucess for you and especially your son in getting the ban revoked and rebuilding bridges with he club.

Could always try ringing them. Or visit the Panthers desk on game night, presumably it’s the game your banned from not the arena.

There will probably not be any-one on the desk with the authority to do anything, it will need to come from either Mr Black or Mr Moran - think that a letter to Mr Black might just be the best idea - he is a business man, it does not have to be a grovelling apology, but could get a dialogue going, which at the moment is what is missing. I do agree that maybe the e-mail assault was counter-productive - good luck Rob, you never know it may work.
